It's likely (but by no means certain) that SOLO will issue an RNS once it has sold all its shares, since this company tries to keep a clear account of the assets it owns.

On that basis, I would indeed not be surprised if SS were deliberately not releasing more than what would be absolutely necessary so as not to give SOLO the chance to sell into such a new release, which would kill off any positive momentum from that (theoretical) update.

It still is. There have been no RNS releases to the contrary.

Agreed, it's not overdue and we are well within the originally given timeline.

Admittedly SS said that the market would be kept updated as the test unfolds, but he has not committed to any frequency of updates, and he has already released plenty of RNSs throughout the process.

So far, we are well on track, and even more.

mick2 - the spread has been fluctuating but very tight at times: look at the log of trades for today and you'll see.
The overall very tight spread is a reason why this share has been traded like crazy for so long.

wizard125 - you are confusing that last minute trade with an "uncrossing trade".

Axebob - what you say is inaccurate. Between (allegedly yours) the buy for £3k worth at 16:23 and that £80k transaction at 16:30, there was another one at about £4 for 1.9325 per share at 16:26.

So the £80k transaction, at 1.93p per share, was for a lower price than that previous one. It's much more likely to have been a sell.

johnnie123 - the claim "for every seller there is a buyer" is outright wrong for the stock market, because of market makers. They are contractually / legally obliged to buy or sell shares (at a price they do set, but subject to theoretical FCA supervision), that's the condition of their license.

Unfortunately, that's not what AIM PIs like, they want drama and "Boooom...!"

Asking for the power to do another fund raise looks bad short term, but it leaves the breathing room for the company to carry on and not to have to go through a fire sale. It's a brave request but the best course of action for the business at this stage.

I'm not in at present but I hope for everyone's sake (including Colin) that this will get resolved.

It's much more likely to have been a sell due to it being at a lower SP than the preceding transaction. HOWEVER, such a big fat amount suggests (but is by no means certain) that SOLO has sold its last chunk.

My guess is that it's 50/50 chances of an RNS tomorrow morning saying so.

I don't doubt that UKOG is going in the right direction and great things are coming soon, but I find the lack of photos or videos from Adrian / The Fool On the Hill conspicuous.

Assuming that those 9 millions bought in 4 transactions within 4 (or less) min are from the same person, it is rather unlikely that it is to offload at just 2p later on - it is difficult to shift such a high amount quickly.

1-2 million, possibly, but 9 million much less so.

And another 2 million at 1.947!

I raised weeks ago my (unsubstantiated) theory that Russia could have been behind all, or some of, the IPPC troubles. Slovenia is small, but it would set a worrying precedent for Russia to have its quasi-monopoly on gas supplies in Europe being effectively dented. A suspicious poster on this BB practically confirmed my theory by writing a post moments later that almost repeated the slogan of RT / Russia Today, that Russian government sponsored news network. Based on what’s been put out this week, I now strongly believe that that minister is under Russian influence of some sort. AST should NOT aim to sell quickly and get out ASAP as suggested by some. It would mean a vastly reduced price for the resource, which I bet would then be snatched away at mates’ rates by Gazprom or one of its supporters months later... CH’s announcement that he will start ECJ proceedings in the shape of an RNS is the best thing that he could have done now.

His last tweets are weirdly crass, I wonder if he's been hacked.
