The bigger the number of shares, the higher the SP for a buyer / the lower the SP for a sell.

The transactions at 0.4974 / 0.04975 were for much fewer shares than the 0.50 one.

Don't expect the same SP for all buys / all sell at any point in time.

It looks like the market is slowly realising Ascent's vastly improved bargaining power with Arso, the Slovenian government and possible buyers of the business.

Yesterday’s successful passing of all resolutions means that AST cannot be run into the ground in the medium term and can afford to drag the Slovenian authorities to the European Court of Justice.

I expect permits to be awarded soon-ish and a reversal of the downtrend (there’s also a gap up to the low 0.70s to fill!).

H5o - agreed, I think that CH appears to have been way too nice for the country’s politics.

I think he has been a reasonably competent administrator, but he does not appear to have been a political animal.
I hope he’s given JL and Arso an ultimatum along the lines of “if no permit in two weeks, we will formally file the action for breach of the Articles against non-tariff barriers under the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU with the CJEU.”

And we have been given by the answers by CH repeatedly for weeks.

It seems that most people who ask about the short term plans these days actually mean to ask “why isn’t the SP back to 2+p yet?”

He has told us the short to medium term plan in RNSs and interviews:

1- Get the permits (well stimulation and IPPC), or start a CJEU action
2- In parallel with the permits, carry on negotiations for takeover or JV, which may close before or after the grant of the permits.

Some people don't understand what this means, so their reaction of anger is understandable.

This is an arbitrary number, it is not the actual price at which the shares have been sold.

There was an explicit breach of the law back in Spring 2016. So even if gas had stopped being in fashion since then, Ascent could still have a strong legal case.

Read the relevant RNS's before making barely-substantiated claims.

This means that Ascent can raise money to sue Arso before the CJEU.
