As to the cash reserve, you will see that the acquisition that you are referring to is for a total of:
US$2,875,000

While URU's cash reserves as of 30 June 2018 were:
CAD$13,208,812 - approx US$10,000,000.

So about US$7,125,000 in the bank. It also has other non-investment assets like loan receivables too.

VS CC's holding in URU evaluated at CAD$1,131,147 (value of 30 June 2018 - so now it's worth less).

So yes, based on the info on the public domain so far, Captor does have a bank full of cash, and I wouldn't see how they should rush to sell their URU holding.

I'm not back in URU yet as I don't have the cash at hand for now.

Basically, they commented on one layer that is still to be fully tested while doing the EWT proper on the other one.

They commented on the (yet-to-be-tested) layer because they believe that both may be connected to the same reservoir.

I've actually remembered that Captor did list its holdings as of 30 June 2018 in its report published on the 29 August.

Being 1% of Captor's assets, Captor's URU holdings are clearly unlikely to be a priority for that company.
That explains more why JZ isn't in a rush with it and focusing on other stuff at present.

That also suggests that we are more likely to have sale at a better price than ASAP - assuming that Captor's stake is small enough that it is not forced to divest it ahead of its deadline to become a full cannabis company.

Does anyone have a clear indication of how much Captor's stake (direct or indirect?) in URU represents vs all that Captor owns?
(This is in view of Captor's claim to be switching to cannabis at 100% within the next 8 (as of now?) months...)

This RNS confirms my view that this is more likely to turn out fine than not, but it will take a very very long time. The MMs are also trying to play that RNS with a ridiculous increase of the ask.

This year looks reasonably likely purely based on the speed at which they tested Portland (only 60% of the originally announced time) and the current speed of KL3 testing.

CH / AST officially announced by RNS that they were in takeover discussions (among others, JVs was also mentioned as an option) back in April 2018 IIRC, so that announcement, whether it does lead to a firm offer or not being made afterwards, places AST under the takeover rules.

So no real update about any of URU’s owners then... cheers!

WHAYAST - yes, if the guy claiming "RNS soon" bought on the day's spike and is disappointed that the SP has stopped rising further for that day...

Foxestocks - just ignore such comments. It could be out of annoyance, or desperate attempt to generate buying to sell at a slightly better price.

No clear update regarding any of the companies dealing with URU (except for MRS) in recent weeks, or have I missed something?
