mainshare - days, weeks, months or years.
That is determined by the reasons for the suspension and how quickly the company deals with those.
Examples of suspensions without prior notice from companies that I've witnessed:
1-2 days (I can't recall exactly): Fitbug (they changed their name since then.)
4 months and counting: Lionsgold (They claim they will complete the required steps to lift the suspension by Q4 2018).
Note that those two were due to announcements of deals or similar new business announcements.
I know of suspensions that have gone for years, and counting, but they were pre-announced and due to issues (they couldn't find new Nomads, or they did not clinch the deals they needed for regulatory reasons (cash shells and reverse T/Os)).
