People should notice that the SP is rising again now, but at a much healthier pace.

Many people seem to refuse to accept that this share is heavily traded. The notion of an overhang is a more reassuring idea, because it suggests that once placed shares are sold by the original buyers, it's all going to rise afterwards...

I think that whomever bought placed shares to sell them off quickly at a quick profit has done so weeks/months ago.

People have to accept that the superb liquidity of this share make it a trader's dream.

It's when large investors buy stakes that the volatility should decrease as they are less likely to be trading so quickly their stakes.

Too much trading madness from PIs right now, wait for it to settle a bit, I suspect the level will rise again above 2p in the afternoon...

Unfortunately this share has been perfect for day trading: superb liquidity and no stamp duty due to being AIM. So every small rise being sold into was unfortunately not unexpected, however disappointing it has been.

Not “end off”. There were probably sells at 1.99 or thereabouts this morning. However, it is almost certain that those two massive trades were buys due to: 1-their SPs being subtantially higher than the inmediately preceding and subsequent transactions 2- the high liquidity of this share, suggesting that even orders of that magnitude were executed within less than 1 hour of their being ordered, so that the SP at the time recorded for each transaction could not have been out sync with that of the other trades at about the same time.

And THAT was a REAL buy because of the higher SP vs the transactions before and after...

Please would anyone have approximate calculations of how long it will take for enough oil to be produced (at the current guesstimate rate of pumping) to fill a tanker?

Drillordrop.com released a claim that a very optimistic site expansion application had been filed by Horse Hill developments ltd - the prediction for the site, once all current and future wells would be up and running, is around 3400 barrels per day...

Big thanks to our multiple on-the-ground photographers who post on Twitter, but their various comments on what they think they see betray their lack of knowledge too - and I don't recall any of them every admitting when they are wrong.

Trolls rarely stick around after an SP has dropped - they are around to try pushing the SP down.

In any case, the Weald is a collection of pockets of oil reserves, so asking whether it is a success or not is almost asking whether the Permian Basin (in Texas) or even the North Sea is a success - it's successes and failures...

Here, the active steps that SS has taken to buy more of HH Ltd show that he is particularly confident of the amount of recoverable oil in the specific Portland and Kimmeridge reserves, so it appears highly unlikely that we will get bad results.

I nearly spat out my tea on my keyboard when I saw the warning "RNS: temporary suspension" - I thought it while the terms of the Zeb sale were concluded (and I don't have penny in URU right now...). LOL.

I don't think that RNS is anything to worry about, it only shows that the management of Uru has not paid enough attention to the work of their auditors (past / present)...

That may have been for oil stored from Portland, at a time when HH Ltd was less keen to run tankers during the Swampie invasion (i.e. more tankers would have gone had past had it not been for the road obstruction).

It's a like Bertha but in larger size. It's between the normal Bertha and the Super Bertha.

"Big Bertha" is inspired by the nickname of a large canon used by Germany in World War I - IIRC "Bertha" was the daughter of the arms manufacturer making that canon.

Maybe they need an even bigger one as there's more pressure than originally thought (even before doing proper pressure testing on Kimmeridge)?...

Or they filled it with waste while clearing the well to reach Kim?

Closing a short position makes the share price INCREASE - you close a short by BUYING back the share that you sold so you can give it back to whomever you borrowed it from...

Any idea what caused that drop earlier (fortunately, bought back into quite quickly afterwards...)?
