Just let the official production numbers do the talking.

If some think it will stay at 1600bopd and is not inclining over time then let them. If the flairing application tomorrow is successful tomorrow that gives another theoretical uplift in production once it’s up and running of between 300-600bopd, so I guess that uplift could start to show on Nov figures, which are available to view end of December.
In the meantime arguing about what someone said / thinks is irrelevant.

I think they are inclining from here on in for a while based on what’s been said with the caveat I don’t know how long each well takes to sort out so that affects the average number obviously.

As for the hedges it’s already been communicated the current oil price is the sweet spot, but as production of unhedged increases that would help offset swaps.

Never really understand the day to day fuss of the SP. Surely everyone understanding copl from a fundamentals perspective knows that IF the RBL, Production Increases, flairing app, JV (assigns value to the discovery) and drilling go well or a takeover appears out the blue then 2023 will be a very successful year for people invested in COPL and it won’t be a 20/30% gain lol.
If only some is successful then depending on which ones they are then it will be still be a good 2023 I suspect.
If however all the above fails then it won’t and no doubt more dilution etc, etc.

It’s all about risk / reward and if currently there is anyone, who understands COPL, that thinks the risk /reward calculations would favour a reduction in SP from this level during the end of 2022 and into 2023 I would be shocked.

Finally I have all my COPL share in an ISA, which is hopefully needed for the 2022-2024 to ensure I don’t have to give too much away.

Well it’s still an if obviously, but if someone is willing to JV (hardly a surprise given what’s there, but early than I expected TBH) that will help to assign value to the find and therefore COPL along with the ongoing production increases.
I still think this gets serious takeover talks later next year, or mutterings people are interested etc, but if a JV gets closed this side of Xmas, the RBL gets done and production continues uptrend then this is going to get very interesting quicker than I expected.

I am not convinced receiving a term sheet would require an RNS as that does not mean the RBL is confirmed so he could mention the RBL is progressing with terms sheets under review would be my guess or they are still awaiting these as it was late sept / early oct.
Hopefully a positive interview on how production is progressing nicely with an ideal situation being they show a production volume curve for the next 6 months so we can see what they are expecting. However doubt they will do that as it would mean them having know targets in the public domain to hit.

Tilburn, I believe he stated terms sheets available at the end of sept / October so if that is achieved the RBL would be signed / completed about 6-8 weeks later I would guess

Reporting for last financial period completed and submitted and next one some time off so offers a window to buy in.

Not sure July figures will show any improvement. Happy to be wrong but even official communications suggest we are at 1600 bopd now and increasing based on well updates/improvements. Therefore my view is with wells going off for the works we might not see improvements in the monthly figures u till Sept.

Really surprised everyone trading COPL is not a millionaire on the last few months trading alone because everybody seems so great at advising after the events that they did xyz.

This SP trend is now mainly based on sentiment IMO so with cash in the bank, potential improvements to production, RBL and delineation on the horizon trends can change quickly.

This BB is a basically a joke and anyone deciding what they are doing based on information on here is going to get their pants pulled down in both directions.

My opinion is they need to spell out the updates they are doing, how much they cost, when they are doing them and the material affect on bopd so that there is a clear path to increased production shown in a timeline.
Everything is always tomorrow will be ok, once xyz happens, but tomorrow has not materialised yet.

I am invested and will remain because my average is reasonably low now but what would help no end is a lot of constant production updates, such as well xyz was producing xxx bopd but after our work it’s now yyy bopd do that and every 2-3 weeks and people will start to see a pathway.

Many people don’t seem to understand warrants and where they originate from. Art has not woken up today and decided to dilute the company further.

Do the maths, there has been about 500k of shares bought/sold and if you say the average price is 18p the value traded is not indication of anything at all. If you don’t like the jumps that smaller caps make in either direction based on limited trading volume then I suggest you go look at completely different market cap companies. I bought and held plus have added along the way as I think the risk/reward opportunity is good.

Yes I am ready, but let’s not automatically assume that COPL will hit a deadline.

I am really positive about copl fundamentals and future opportunities for a decent SP increase but would be pleasantly surprised if they produced something on time for a change lol

Also the main short term risk in my view was the interview where he discussed contracting a rig as he did not come across positive on that point, but that’s my view and hopefully he will keep to his mentioned timings again.

The risks I see as an investor in COPl are simple but clear. The company regularly misses self imposed deadlines, which it did this time over COPl again, and continues to grow the company at the expense of the share price.

Once COPL hit deadlines with positive news the SP should follow suit, but until then basically the big money, outside of the ones getting finders fees and warrants / placings at good rates, does not believe what is said, what is planned and/or if the company has the ability to execute it.

The fundamentals are there in principle, the strategy is their in principle so if they start executing it the sp will follow.

There are many positives / negatives that could go into the detail but basically it’s fundamentals vs ability to achieve that’s the main positive / negative.

I am here basically as I believe that to not realise SP value with the current risk reward from these levels is almost impossible not to achieve, but I want to see positive company making progress on RNA messages and ones that support a Northward sp movement and not ones that progress the company but screw the SP.

It’s all there they just need to do it.

Brattus22, someone seems to understand it then as I fully agree with you so reality is by replacing the existing one with this, which supports the RBL, which subsequently can pay this off in cash COPL is in a better position than an hour ago.

The the noise vanish and then it will all work out.

The RNA was good news and shows we are progressing and COPL is a great investment IMO, hence I have a few.

Like most BB’s don’t get carried away making up your own timelines, because it’s great that the RBL was mentioned and it’s obvious it is being progressed and going well or it would not be mentioned but …….

The RNA clearly says it’s progressing in tandem and not they will close in tandem so my suggestion would be assume that CUDA closes first and then sometime after that the other good news, which includes the RBL, will roll in.

And what, prey tell, will this nugget tell us.
