I would love you to be correct about Budge and Baylan locking horns behind the scenes.
But isn’t the problem a lack of engagement and refusal to lock horns?

Budge may be gunning for a job in Swedish politics, as he has become an accomplished bullsh*tter.

It will make no difference. Any incoming minister will be just 10 months from the next General election, and his own political career will be his sole focus.

It is time to hold him to account on the 7th anniversary of his appointment. 7 years of stagnation and dilution. Shocking.

It is worth saying, or reminding those who can't remember that, according to the published mining application legislation in Sweden, it is the mining inspectorate who grant the licenses, not government ministers.
But as we now all know, politics has hijacked Kallak.
the mining inspectorate may as well be disbanded. it appears to be an anachronism in modern, woke Sweden.

The Swedes also have a mining inspectorate, who back the mine at Kallak. They are way up the pecking order above Bernhardsson, but haven't been heard from since their chief said the decision would come in a matter of weeks.........5 years ago..

Bernhardsson is a nobody in terms of the granting of the concession.

No politicians present though, so no change and continuing stale mate.
