Fortunately I have about 6 that I won't be letting go of until they all reach my much higher target prices. Micro Focus fortunately is one of those.

3000 posts in 6 months hasn't stopped the share price rise from 22p to 72p. Nor will it stop it further rising from where we are now to 150p to 180p. What an absolute clown you are and all for a pence here or there on your next trade or short position.

Absolutely brilliant news isn't it that Cineworld are bringing forward the opening of its cinemas now to March and in line with an earlier approval and roll out of the Pfizer vaccine. Forst doses distruted for first admin this Tuesday. As Professor Stephen Powys said only today "It is the beginning of the end of the pandemic..."

Cineworld is funded going forward, its waivered up also and its cinemas are closed right now with furloughed staff so in sleep mode at minimal cost. Right now it is probably about as de-risked as it has ever been and that's why it is highly responsive to any good news. Furthermore unlike last time, this time around it will be reopening with a cure, virtually herd immunity and moving forward into a massive slate of films with most of the 2020 films and the 20121 slate to show next year. And at an over-reacted 15% discount to where it was on Thursday night.

Still waiting btw for you to explain how gaming will be a threat to Cinema? They don't let you plug your XBox or PS4 or 5 in when you are sat in the cinema. In fact it is quite the contrary for the it is the Gaming world that needs success at the Box Office to enable the merchandising of associated games. Please explain if you think otherwise?

Interesting the comments on WB and the theatre window and just to be clear on this that Cineworld and Mooky are on record several times over as stating that they will not show any films that breach the "theatre window".

Global Box Office revenues for films in 2019 amounted to $42.5 Billion. Any WB cut of that will still amount a vast amount of money that they will not be wishing to forego if they are not able to show their films in cinemas. Like I said, it is those who own the seats that ultimately decide if the films get shown or not.

Nice 15% discount being offered to those who can read between the lines. Cineworld are sufficiently funded, all waivered up and you won't be getting it for 62p in the run up to March when the vaccine has worked its course and normality is returning.

You seem to be omitting the fact that Brexit talks have reconvened for 48 hours worth of intensive negotiations and a little myopic if you think otherwise than these talks being played out right until the 11th hour. The UK holds a massive trump card in these negotiations in access to UK waters for fishing and the EU know that without a deal then they have no access. Watch as it plays out and for a deal to be struck.

IDW, you seem to be posting in absolute desperation today. Have you opened a short and realised that AMC only fell 3% Friday and Cinemark actually went up 8.65% on Friday. Cineworld a near 15% hit looks well overdone tbh

I give it that they will have changed their minds earlier than August. I give it till early New Year as it is going to cost WB more money than they will make. The AMC CEO has not minced his words on this very topic and was straight into dialogue. Mooky I fully expect will have done the same.

Incidentally the Disney event on Thursday is actually an Investor Day - not a meeting and all can tune in if they have 4 hours to spare. We should see a nice further boost if Disney preserve the status quo of the theatre window (which I think they will do.)

Reading between the lines, it simply won't happen to the detriment of the Cinema theatre operators.

I would suggest that all place indepthwins on filter. If you had listened to that shorter / trader clown then you would have missed out on the climb from 22p to over 70p and will in all probability miss the climb back up to 150p to 180p on opening with mass vaccination successful and straight into the next James Bond sequel.

When Cineworld reopens circa Spring time then nearly most of the population of its key countries population will have been innoculated against Coronavirus. According to Prof. Jonathan Van Tam on Thursday the Uk is aiming at 99% immunity from Phase 1 vaccines alone by targeting those most at risk. That scenario for reopening is a completely different picture from previous openings. Life back to the way it used to be and kerching at the Box Office.

AMC have also made it pretty clear that they will not be surrendering any theatre window unless there is a vast improvement in their cut from movies from movies premiering in their cinemas. Warner Bros may desire otherwise but if they don'ty improve the cinema "cut" of film revenue for cinemas then it will be "jog on" Warner Bros and good luck with your streaming as you will not be showing any of your new releases in our cinemas. Mooky Greidinger will without doubt be taking the same stance, as I expect will all smaller cinema chains as well.

I'm sorry IDW but your first line is completely inaccurate and should be reported. Cineworld came nowhere banktruptcy.

It actually pulled off a coup de grâce with a rabbot out the hat that isnatntly sank a lot of shorters with a large rise and losses or margin calls. It readily obtained significant funding and ahead of time as well as other easings.
