The only retail stock that I know whose share price has actually retreated since the news came out that whether in Tier 1,2 or 3 all non-essential shops can open.

It also has to be said that it should be primary beneficiary from Christmas trading and the trade in calenders and diaries.

Imho Its being strangleheld.

Price was taken down too far and what with the oil price where it is.

Arcadia into Administration and Debenhams now confirming it is going the same way.

This should have a positive impact on Mike Ashley's group's sales what with 2 High street chains of competitors set for closure. Not only that but the assets and brands and websites will be there to pick up off the receivers for a fraction of their value. He will have his eyes on Debenhams European assets.

My heart goes out to all those staff of both chains who have been through the mill for the last few years and what a terrible time of year for this to happen to anyone.

UK Govt has upped its Moderna order from 4 Million to 7 Million and Moderna itself has just submitted for Emergency use approval as of today. Thats to add to the Pfizer vaccine which can;t be too far off getting a green light, and the Oxford University vaccine which is close behind.

The BBC news last night carried an interesting expose whereby firstly it informed that the UK Govt had successfully increased its order for the Moderna vaccine from $ Million to 7 Million doses and it also had an interview with a supposed expert stating that they would be surprised if there wasn't any MRHA regulatory news on the Pfizer vaccine, either this week or next week.

Looks like Moderna have just submitted their data for Emergency approval also.

One day you move it up to generate trading. Another you move it down to do the same. Better to focus on where things will be in 6 months time with a vaccinisation program successfullt underway and CCL advertising its cruises again.

People are now tipping this as having potential to double.

Sat in quite a few of these ones now and happy to give them a 6 to 12 month time frame.

Peel Hunt tipped this to double in the Times article on Friday. That's why most are parked up here in any case. Carnival, another of my favourites gets a similar mention.

Couple of others well worthy of inclusion in any recovery watchlist have to be MicroFocus, Easyjet and Network International Holdings. Liberium did a similar recovery playlist with about a dozen on it.

Its nice that the analysts do the working out for you but dyor though in any case.

My guess would be someone having gone short to actually go long. Either that or Harding Loevner LP buying some more to increase its recent 5.63% holding.

Signs of life though emerging? prior to next vaccine news.

Been out for most of the day and just looking at the trades it seems to either be consolodating or some being afforded a slightly cheaper access point.

It seems to be holding up well today which is good.

I doubt it is being released.

for some reason they have been doing their level best to starve it of affection.

No idea why but I guess we can live with it for now.
