Nearly 10 months we have been waiting for an effective vaccine to be developed and authorised and that will ultimately rid us of this cursed virus.

We got one such vaccine approved for use in the first of our key markets.

The Oxford vaccine won't be far behind as the MRHA were conducting a rolling review program behind both the Pfizer and Oxford Vaccine. You would hope their counterparts in the FDA were doing the same due diligence.

Its actually a momentous day.

Let it sink in for we will be back in business a lot quicker than many had been thinking.

Just got brought forward by todays 'out of the blue" announcement.

Its more significant for markets, than they are presently letting on.

America Emergency Use approval will be the next big milestone here. Upon which you would expect a respectable jump upwards.

Puts the FDA in the USA under even more pressure for approval of its Emergency Use. USA (and our core market) has first call on masses of this vaccine.

The scope is back to the 1130p it was on the charts in January and prior to the pandemic.

US approval should, you would think, follow quickly given the White Houses disdain and the high level meeting only yesterday. They will be might peeved that the UK has approved things first given they got all the data second !!

I only commented on the USA yesterday where there was a high level meeting to try and expedite things. UK received the paperwork after the USA so expect things to expedite over there and what is effectively CCL's key market.

More positivity on the vaccine front will translate into a higher oil price.
