Just comparing the Cineworld and AMC SP's today it seems to be the case that Cine has fallen about 12% more than AMC today.

If you haven't worked it out yet it is all going to boil down to those who control the Cinema seats winning the day.

Box Office takings from those very seats are what enabled Global box office revenue to hit a record $42.5 billion in 2019. That is where the Studios derive the vast proportion of their profits.

So.

If you want to stream at the same time as showing in the Cinema then you improve Cinema's financial terms

Or

You observe the "theatrical window" and keep the same terms.

If you can't adhere to either approach then you Don't get access to the seats in the cinema and your share of that $42.5 Billion pound industry.

Just a feeling that the "theatre window" will be preserved and win the day particularly with AMC and Cineworld not looking to give any ground.

There simply is no comparison between "living room tv" and a night out at the cinema to watch the latest blockbuster. Many of those are lined up for cinemas reopening (where the Big money is) and unlike the previous reopenings that will now come with vaccine immunity.

I'm with you that it will double in price. However I think that now all have a vaccine in sight that it might get closer to trebling and get back to the 1132p that it was pre Covid 19

There is a gap in the charts up to 1132p which is where Micro Focus was pre Covid19

The first consignment of the vaccine to cure this wretched viral is just arriving in the UK and will be getting administered asap in Phase 1.
The USA will quickly follow with Emergency use authority also
Then we get back to normal and quicker than most thought.

Upon which there are a lot of stocks including Micro Focus which are looking very cheap indeed.

It will be interesting to look back on this in March next year and see how much higher we are.

I personally will be surprised if we are not at least double today's share price and probably higher than that and closer to 1132p. It should never have been this low from the details in the last update.
