Pop yourself along to the cinema this weekend and view a film and see what percentage of people enter the cinema with concession food and drink to exempt themselves from wearing a facemask. Good discipline makes me screen shot my watchlists on those type of days to refer back to for any potential rebounds. BP for instance on the 26th opened at 344.75 and RDSB opened at 1660 so those 2 are actually now higher.

Tullow at the close on the 25th November (the night before) was sat at 47.14 (47.95p on 24/11) sop by comparison there should be about another 10% recovery to come.

Incidentally we have continued to produce oil every day since and get on with the business of continuing to transform the business and the balance sheet around.

Don't ask me how he got the tickets but I got dragged along tonight by a family member to a red carpet screening of The Kings Man prior to its general release on Boxing Day. Couldn't fault the full evening. Meet and greet, free Popcorn and drinks, premiere seats, cinema was full and the film itself was really enjoyable. I won't spoil the plot but it's well worth seeing over the Christmas period if you get the chance.

This one will sell seats right throughout the day and matinees will be popular as well as it will appeal to all age groups and bring out the families and the fans.

Just make sure that if you can you do your bit by booking seats for yourself and your family then you do. Cineworld or Picture House hopefully your first choice but if not then any cinema.

K2 and the likes can spend millions manipulating down the share price. Cumulatively though if we all do our bit and spend between £8.00 and £20 per person then we can hopefully collectively contribute to correcting things back up.

We reached 84p on Bond and got the UK cinema renaissance thereafter. Spiderman No Way Home is already looking much bigger than Bond and it should hopefully inject real pace into the US recovery also.

K2 if short at the moment are imho looking a bit over-exposed what with Spiderman No Way Home just about to grace the silver screens, along with Spielberg's Westside Story (opens 10th Dec), Matrix 4 (22/12), The Kingsman (10/12). That plus all the Xmas gift card sales.

I'd prefer to think that they may well have manipulated themselves a far bigger buy in opportunity and are doing just that, but staying under 3%.

48p / 49p into the biggest movie of the year and the one that should kickstart the US Box Office proper, just as Bond has done in the UK, is good going.
