Someone wants this price driven lower, I don't know what their motivation is but this is in a downward spiral that shows no sign of turning yet. When it does, I believe it will turn hard, and fast, so be ready to jump on board sub-200p

There shouldn't be any fees either way Ash, but I would have thought it will be easier via your broker. Otherwise you'll have to send money to PB, then wait to see if you've been allocated some/all the shares you've applied for, then wait for PB to transfer them to your broker, then wait for a refund of any unused monies etc. etc. Can I ask, do you have an allocation (basic entitlement) in your Halifax a/c or (as I expect) are they just offering a service to bid for shares on your behalf? With net debt of £51.2m there is zero chance of a share buy-back. That's only for companies that are cash-rich. Unless you want to give up your dividend for buy-backs??

Thanks mike. My caution at using apps doesn't extend to dodgy shares I'm afraid, I've had some real disasters in my time too. TRP, VOG, CTT, HAWK, AFE - basically, if you can think of a lousy share, I've probably lost money on it! We live and learn though, and I've been very fortunate to have backed a couple of winners along the way that have enabled me to invest in more boring, steady dividend payers at, effectively, no cost. So I really shouldn't grumble so much!

Sorry mike, I'm a bit old-fashioned when it comes to my money. This business is risky enough without extra stresses from apps I don't want to use. Here's what I posted in October, for info, which I think is a reasonable request:
"For me to use their app, I would require:
Secure login with strong authentication.
The ability to securely transfer money into a client account in my own name.
Visibility of my money at all stages.
In-app notification of details of any transactions undertaken by PrimaryBid on my behalf, with my money.
In-app notification of secure transfer of shares from PrimaryBid to my broker.
In-app notification of secure transfer of any remaining funds from my client account to my bank account.
Since the PB app doesn't currently appear to offer these features, which I would expect from any institution holding my money, I won't be using it."

KAF yes, but when you factor in the broker fee you'd have to sell a hell of a lot to make it worthwhile. And if you do, of course, there's no guarantee you'll be allocated all of them when you try to buy them back. It's not for me, thank you, but good luck if you're doing that.

OK thanks Eto, I'm with HL but I'm not really surprised, often seem to miss out on opportunities offered by other brokers. I stick with them because of the range of investment options available which suits my portfolio.

He's a Chartered Patent Attorney at Schlich, who were presumably engaged by SAR to draft the patent application. It'd be too specialist for anyone on the SAR payroll to safely undertake, not something you can afford to get wrong in other words.

As far as I'm aware, GSF hasn't said that it WILL offer C shares at this stage, just that it might at some point (I haven't read the prospectus so correct me if I'm wrong). Either way, they would be a separate issue to our existing shares.
There's been nothing yet about the retail part of the offer(s) going through PrimaryBid but that's been their preferred method for previous raises and is the obvious route this time. Personally I'm not a fan of their app, for reasons stated on here previously, so I won't go into it again. I'm hoping there'll be an offer via the broker network but not holding my breath. Failing that, I'll wait & see if the sp drops close to the issue price and consider adding some if it does. If you check the previous issues, you'll find the sp has recovered the lost ground pretty quickly as GSF has made some quality acquisitions to date. No guarantee that the same will happen this time of course, but this has been one of my better investments so far.

pernix, I guess the results were ok but they're not exactly ripping it up are they? The part I don't like, and I suspect is the main reason for the market's negative reaction this morning, is "Net cash generated from operating activities £22.3m
2021/20 £31.2m (-28.5%)
2021/19 £34.4m (-35.2%)"
So for all the hype associated with the new factory in China coming onstream, net cash is down significantly.
On the positive side though, the dividend has increased again which is always welcome, but also a sign of confidence from the Board.
Still looks like testing 200 at some stage though, which of course would make the dividend even more attractive. I won't be adding for now.

robleo, keep an eye out. You might be able to get hold of some at 110 on PrimaryBid. Dividend appears to be sustainable, albeit it's being subsidised currently until more of the battery resources come onstream. Reliable revenue streams though, in some cases underpinned by (Irish) government funding. We've had 6p dividend already this year, I'm hoping to see 1.5p final dividend and maybe 8p total next year if all goes to plan.

That might just be good timing adv11, mid-afternoon wobble, buy the dips. Have we discussed EAT? I'm sure it won't have passed you by. Currently pays 2.2p / quarter (up from 2p last year) and can be had for 115p just now. Should be declaring another 2.2p dividend any day now. As always, this is NOT a tip but fyi I'm invested there. Big drop when war broke out but has steadied recently.

Hi Ged, welcome to the board. If you can find a reason why not to invest in SUPR I'd like to know what it is. You've listed many of the arguments for holding SUPR shares, especially if you need an income from dividends (as I do). The cash calls are an issue but the SP dips seem to have been recovered pretty quickly as the money raised so far has been put to very good use. My only advice, should you decide to come on board, is not to invest all your funds in one go in case of a sudden, unexpected fall in these volatile times. Good luck, whatever you decide. K

I guess if you look at the 3-year chart this is just getting back on track. Also the built-in, upward-only rent rises give protection against inflation, so look very attractive just now. Plus SUPR only invest in the larger, omnichannel stores offering online delivery and petrol, so they've covered all the angles. If we've learned anything from the recent Brexit/pandemic/war disasters it's that we can't manage without supermarkets.

All-time high of 129.50 this afternoon. Be good if this can hold above 130 before the next cash call. Paying a solid dividend too - what's not to like on a sunny Friday afternoon?

Mas, see my comment below. Just under 6% currently but BDEV has committed to reduce the dividend cover from 2.5X to 1.75X over the next 2-3 years, which should increase the yield. I'm slowly moving some TW to here, I'd rather have the extra dividend payment than a share buyback.
