So, as expected, taking a hit like the others. The bit I most liked in this RNS was "We intend to seek recoveries from other entities involved in the development process who may have a responsibility to share the costs of remedial works..." so look out, BDEV is coming for you! I'd like to see a concerted effort by all the major HB's to bring to book all the agencies and organisations involved in this tragedy, problem being that HMG is the most culpable IMHO but no-one has been able to get an admission from them thus far.

Wow, so much for the positivity around this yesterday! Complete capitulation by the developers today!! I guess their legal eagles can't have been as confident of a positive outcome if it came to court after all. Not impressed! Perhaps they'll now suspend the buyback programme?

Good question teamwork, I wonder if it might be part of a "commercial in confidence" contract or something similar? Agree with you that cap & collar arrangements, for companies that use them, represent a big risk in an environment of high & rising inflation such as we have now. Trouble is, governments with high borrowing (such as our own) need a period of rising inflation to water down the effects of the repayments, so I think we're stuck with it for now.

All the builders are up c. 5% this morning, anyone know if there's news re a resolution of the cladding issue? Can't see anything being reported.

Sudden leap for all HB's from around 9.45 this morning, anyone heard if it's related to a resolution of the cladding issue? If it is, looks like it's not a bad one.

TEEC seems to be flying under the radar currently. Assuming a total dividend of 5.5p the yield is above 6% and looks to be an interesting alternative to GSF. Thanks for the heads-up adv11, I'll be looking to get in here when funds allow. K

pernix, costs have been rising in every business for months now, as you have acknowledged. Of course, Strix is impacted by that like every other business. The fact that price rises for Strix products don't take effect until May suggests that someone has been asleep at the wheel.

Admire your optimism jo, certainly some buyers appearing when the sp dipped below 200 (as predicted). However, sellers have emerged again, so I'm not convinced 200 IS the floor. This is down 30% in 3 months, almost 50% in the calendar year. Sooner or later the sp will rise to reflect the true value here, which is significantly higher than £2 in my view, but it may have a bit further to drop yet. Let's see...

Price today 113p, dividend 7p p.a. every year since launch, looking likely to increase to 7.5p this year & 8p next (my projection, not GSF's). Those are my reasons for being positive.

Oh, secure messages from HL, I've got the option to buy! Pleasantly surprised. Just need to find the funds from somewhere now!

unhooked agreed, it would have been helpful if they'd given a price target. I'm sure it would help the sp if they turn positive on this, so worth keeping an eye on.
