Yes Tovers, and when you combine the 4x dividend cover with the statement "Following strong trading conditions, the Board will consider an extraordinary dividend in early May." it looks interesting to say the least! I've added some more this morning, much higher sp than my previous buys but I think there's still more to come here.

So my shares have been added to my "proper" HL accounts now. I've received 38% of the shares I requested. The balance of funds has been credited to my ISA & trading accounts. Overall, a bit disappointing to get such a small allocation but can't complain about receiving discounted shares without having to use PB. GLA, have a great Easter weekend. K

Ash, if you're with HL then yes, I'm in the same boat. Others know their allocations and can presumably deal them if they want to, but they're not with HL. In the mean time, the SP is rising nicely.

The range of investments available mainly. I don't suffer from the same issues others have had not being able to trade certain stocks/funds/trusts. Their research is pretty good too in my experience. And they've negotiated some significant discounts for some of the positions I hold. They're far from perfect though (I'm a Woodford casualty and overall their service is expensive IMO). They've suspended their Bed & ISA service "due to Covid" which is clearly nonsense now.

Just as well I don't want to trade my GSF shares. The Assented Lines are still showing in my HL a/c, can't be traded and still no nearer knowing my actual allocation! This is fairly typical I'm afraid, HL usually crawl along at a snail's pace in my experience but do make up for it it other ways. Guess I'll have to try again later.

That's not been my experience in the past, but we'll see in the morning. According to the Assented Lines, I've received all I requested. Based on other people's allocations, I can't see that being right. As for "If theyve taken your money then whatever is shown in your account now are yours.", anyone who has bought shares via a placing before knows they take all the money upfront & return funds that are unused following allocation.

I'm with HL too. They're showing an "Assented Line" with all the shares I applied for but that doesn't mean they've been allocated to me. Hopefully tomorrow morning there'll just be one line with the total amount showing, including my allocation. Looks like it's going to be seriously scaled back though based on other's allocations. I've got some in my ISA & some in a trading account so I applied for a smallish number in both.

Agreed colbalt, surely with all the expensive marketing resource they're paying for they could have come up with a form of words by now? But then, self-promotion has never been a Sarium thing & it seems to be working out ok so far...?

Still nothing from HL, less than two weeks to go now but still time. Any other broker offers out there?

Why no RNS from SAR? Surely this is price sensitive information and would help draw attention to the implications?

Spot on Panderman, RNS just confirmed. Fund doubled to £150 million and still significantly oversubscribed. Perfectly pitched, perfectly timed (II's looking to invest new ISA funds with safe, solid dividend payer), just hope us PI's get a decent allocation again. May not find out until dealing commences on Thursday, will be keeping an eye out. K

The dividend paid today relates to the period 1st October - 31st December 2021.

Check out the RNS of 4th October 2021, PrimaryBid were involved last time. I'll let you know if/when I hear anything from HL, based on previous experience it could be a good few days yet though.

I know it looks that way StayinAlive, and you may be right. I can only tell you that it looks very much the same as the last placement and I was able to buy shares through an offer on HL then. I refuse to use the PrimaryBid app because it doesn't meet what I feel are basic requirements in terms of managing my money. I'd like to pick a few more up at the discounted price though, so I'm hoping HL will be participating again.

I know. Wish I'd taken the advice of others on here and sold at a small discount as soon as it was announced. Lesson learned for next time it happens I guess. It's months now since I accepted their offer.

Following it's original "Buy" recommendation on 10th June 2021 at 235p, Shares Magazine today suggests that readers "Keep buying." "The tightness of the rental market and the continued strong demand for new housing and finance mean the group is perfectly placed to cover each aspect of the property market both directly and via franchisees." Hi GedC, I'm with HL but last time they made the offer available through the broker platform. The only issue with your SIPP is making sure you've got funds available to buy additional shares, otherwise the process is exactly the same as it would be for an ISA or standard trading account. In fact, HL allowed me to apply for shares in, say, an ISA even if I held them in a SIPP but I'm not sure how ii works I'm afraid. Others may be able to advise. K
