Here is another Oasis Management purchase. This time Kier; bought (again) 5% only back in April when the SP was 117p. Less than 3 months later the SP got to 213p, tho has ebbed off a tad now. (profit takers maybe)

Point i obviously make is if they can do that to Costain Group & Kier, why wouldn't the same thing happen to Capita? Just some more research that gives me confidence in the future of our company......

I have my TP's if we drop this week to top up on RIO, Qualcomm, Googl. Got into Aviva at c£4 & Lgen at 230p, so enough of those for the divi. My DEC are just bobbing along doing bu**er all, but might hang onto now after promising to bin them often.

A good strategy might be to invest in whatever Oasis buy into, as they seem to have a track record of making great decisions.

This is interesting on Seth Fischer & Oasis. He took a 5% interest in Costain Group in early April. Then, the share price was 99p. Today the price has risen to 162p. That's about a 70% increase over 4 months with the 6 month chart showing at about 45 degrees. An achtivist investor!

Similar story here with Hunting. A 5% stake in April. Again, wanting to have influence on the board with regard to the direction of the company

There's Kipper sharing his research again. Didn't have to, but thought that was what this board was for, not just insulting folks....

Problem is Macy, people will fire up the keyboard and write all sorts of insulting c*ap, sure in the knowledge that nobody is going to kick their door in to remove one of their kidneys to sell on the dark web.

Again, i reiterate, why would Oasis & Staveley buy massive amounts of Capita stock if the company was in a bad way. They will have access to data that we can only dream of. (unless one of you fine folks is sat at a BT) Plus, they will have talked to people at the top of the company before buying. Seth Fischer is known to be an activist investor. Not passive. He will be looking for a good return on his money and has a track record of doing so.

Happy with my recent purchase @ 300p. Not a trader, and am looking to offload those at year end @ 400p with a fair wind....

My take is Macy is correct, Aim can annoy, but gives his/her opinion in respectful ways, always. As against some folks who contribute tripe & can't even read an RNS without getting it wrong, then hacking off at someone who can.....Kipper despairs!

On a more serious note i see Trump has got tired of wrecking global markets with tariffs and now wants to nuke everyone, mainly Ruskies. More blood on the carpet Monday then perhaps. A buying opportunity awaits for the investor with patience. Have my two little pots of Capita so will be looking elsewhere for bargains.

I assume all you fine folks are only Capita investors/traders, as hardly anyone mentions another share/stock. ?? Shame that, for an investment forum.....

Market Makers manipulate almost every stock on every exchange. MAR rules are far too lax, in fact, bl**dy useless in some ways....

All we can do is 'play the game' with a very poor hand and hope to come out on top......

Whole market off today so not too concerned. US futures down also. Am hoping Trump gives us all another chance to topup/buy. Sold off all my VOD & BHP for just such an opportunity.

Will be looking to buy more Googl & Qualcomm if they hit my targets. Plus some Chinese EV producers.

@Trenners, hope you took your Ocado profit before the slight retrace. In myself at 300p couple of days ago with capital from Coin sales. Seperate to my long term holding and look to cash them in c400p on run up to Dec update. You seem to be one of the few on here that actually do company research, and realise the share price is not the company. We have to have patience with AH & his team. That is not the same as in the JL days, where he talked rubbish. ie; the statement in 2022 stating that the turnaround is done. Remember that?

After all, would Oasis have bought 5% in Capita, with all the information available to them, if things were not looking better? Would Staveley have done similar? Would banks be queing up to lend Capita money if the company was in a poor state?

Board not worth visiting at the moment. Absolute c*ap written by the usual one line merchants. Fingers firing tripe into the keyboard like missiles followed by bunker busting the send button. No quality, only quantity. Try to encourage keeping it respectful, gets me nowhere. Will keep my research to myself. Will post any reply from Stephanie, but baring that i'm done. until H1 day.

I always thought NF & Aim made some reasonable contributions (especially with that II holding data from NF) Agree or not agree, always respectful.

Guessing the close of play SP on a daily basis is a bit daft to me. But i guess the board is for all. Roofer over on VOD board has been running a 'guess the w/e share price' for eons; people seem to love it.

Maybe it's the Capita board; just too many who contribute nawt and only give negative reaction to other's efforts.....it's quite sad, but maybe a reflection of society. Again, some surprised me today, some were comments as per...

This article details how NiCE is partnering with hyperscallers such as AWS & Salesforce and how it is enhancing the way they work. This is exactly what AH & his team are doing so, to me, is relevant. @Tren, agree that you did the correct thing to sell a few. (which i have said earlier) Your next move, should you wish to, is to decide whether or not to buy them back at potentially 2xxp. Depending on your confidence, via your Capita research, you may do that and buy back the same amount at 15%+ less than you sold them a week ago. That is some going mate!

My view. Capita is possibly having a 'Truss' moment. With that in mind my strategy is to keep my long term holding and buy some standalone shares with the plan to sell at 400+ on the run up to Dec update. My main risk is the unknown H1 Results, and them having a further negative impact on the SP. On the plus side i have Staveley & Oasis buying in with more info at hand than i can dream of. It's a balance, for me 300 might be the tempter.

Couple of people surprised me here today with fired off one liners. They seemingly did not read the RNS completely. IMV there was no need to reply to a question so dissrespectfully. But whatever, my skin is thick folks.....

T (& others), if you read down the RNS's you will see the Ofgen one was not structured in the same way as all the others. ie; It does not say Capita at the top and at the bottom it does not give datails of Capita IR. Therefore it's content is not generated by Capita. It was always just copy & paste from Ofgem.

Should i get a reply from IR on this Close Period question i will post for all to look at. But, pending that, my research suggests that a company will not disclose any information which may affect the share price in the month preceding H1 or FY Results. Not sure if this is mandatory, or simply good practice.

My original question was just if anyone else here had knowledge on this.....

Why they RNS'd in the first place, goodness knows.......anyone else buying??
