@Tren, good to hear at least one person has seen this as a buying opportunity. Most comments today are in green boxes or akin to Corbyn atop a bus with a megafone.....blah, blah, blah.
In an effort to raise the level of conversation to above the gutter i will mention strategy. The way i do it is, i first do my research to assertain if a company is worth my money. Then it may go on my watchlist with a TP. I NEVER ever am fortunate enough to buy at the very bottom. So i plan to buy in 4 - 6 tranches. Possibly buy on the way down, or better, on the rise. Maybe i will have to wait a few months, especially if a company is in an unloved sector.
I did this with COIN when crypto was out of favour, buying all the way down to about $150. The waiting game paid off the other week when i sold at $338 & $400 respectively. The SP kept on going up but i am fine with that as i NEVER get out at the top. SP back to $300, so back on my watchlist.
Bought Qualcomm last week after good results. But SP dropped to bought my first tranch at $146. Next buy would be typically 10% lower. Etc.
Did my research last week on a Chinese EV maker called NIO. SP been in the doldrums for a while but got tempted on a small amount at $4.60 as is on the more risky side of my usual buys.
Hope folks will see the honesty and transparency in my comments. But please, please don't call me a trader.....
Que the rude clap trap.....
