I think on one occasion G i reduced & took a little profit as i thought i had too many of the things. Then, got tempted back in after a drop months later.

Tho, wouldn't call myself one of those trader types. Sold my BHP bought at £17 when they shot up to £19, only to see them carry on going up. Sold some more Coin yesterday at $400 as thought price was overbought. Again, now they are $415. Locked in some profit but am hopelessly bad at judging when to do it no matter how many lines i draw on a chart. Every time i sell something i would have made more bl**dy money doing nothing!

Well G, it has to be said that Aim has been AWOL on here since the 2nd. It's very worrying. But, actually, it does highlight the perril's of a 'trading' strategy over the 'buy & hold'. Trying to guess the high's & low's as buy and sell points, against the Staveley & Oasis strategy of a 3 - 5 year investment.

Myself, along with other pontificating chumpsters here, are in for the med/long haul......oh, in my view

I read this article on the 'turnaround' in Rolls Royce. So many comparisons with what AH & his team are doing at Capita. New CEO, sell off non productive businesses, reduction in management, incentivise the workforce, implemation of new technologies like AI, performance driven approach with clear strategic goals.

All this has resulted in a (so far) 500% improvement in the companies share price over just 2 years......

Staveley, Oasis & Banks queing up to lend money all points one way to me.

Especially on the matter of FCF; how much and when. Everything else we pretty much know. Forward guidance will be the key SP mover......
