there's one giant discovery in Indonesia that's still not developed called Natural D Alpha 200Tcf+ but 70% CO2! still that's 60Tcf of gas! It's possible that there's more to be found around it with lower CO2! Plus it's kinda near Tuna.

just watched the video. really poor performance from her. she could have just said the reason why that green party manipulator's claim that gas is 4x more expensive than onshore wind is because the open cycle gas plants she referred to are peaker plants not designed to run all the time but to fill in the gap when there's no wind.

onshore wind should really have included the cost of that or battery storage to really compete with ccgt gas plants. she could even add on saying if the NZT Power project is successful in Humber, that'll be the end of intermittent wind power in the UK!

I hope HBR is looking at a bigger picture here. Chevron's IDD (62% of 2.5Tcf) and Shell's Abadi (35% of 7-10 Tcf ) is still for sale.

it's going to be tough, Nigeria still 500kboepd below their quota, both Saudi & Iraq are around 75kboepd below target each. Libyan situation still not great. Iran & Venezuela likely to be unsanctioned. Cushing is almost empty. So not alot of headroom for further production increase or oil reserves release.

And comparison to the more recent Timpan Utara and Halwa in Aug 2020 presentation. Probably same prospect but it's strange that the recent news report from Indonesian media quoting more prospects to the West when these ones I've shown is in the North of timpan. It's possible that there's more to the West of Timpan as there's a big fault there that could be a potential trap?

in any case, very exciting times indeed for HBR. Exit UK and scale up in Indonesia and Asia, this should be the new strategy. There are no large independents in SE Asia yet and it's time for a newco to be listed in SGX!

Here's an analysis from IHS: Minimum Economic Field Size = 0.58Tcf even at $5/MMBtu, that's equivalent to $29/boe. Also confirmed another source saying it's low CO2 and H2S. Likely to be lower if other discoveries nearby are found.
