IMHO good chance for HBR to buy ENQ.

Market cap + Existing debt = 1.4B for 45kboepd, mostly oil, long life low decline reserves of 200MMboe 2P & 500MMboe (mostly in Bentley & Bressay which are near Kraken).

Don't put your hopes up, they can easily U-turn once gas is $600p/therm this winter!

The only way HBR can plan is to diversify out of UK.

IHS estimates 0.58Tcf as minimum economic volume if gas price is $5/MMBtu. It's now >$40/MMBtu .

when the banks were suffering big losses, the taxpayer helped to plug in the gap. when oil made big losses, nobody helped.

most of harbour's oil and gas are hedged. the profitmakers are the commodity trading houses, banks and hedge funds.

recent rise is surely because of clearbridge. AUM 227 with 8% energy allocation, so only part of 18M to cause a 10% rise since WT announcement, it's not really alot right?

I'm hoping for the following:

- Start deflecting the good results by mentioning why is no one angry at Apple for earning 20.8B last quarter where they produce products most people can live without while it's such a big issue with the oil industry e.g. XOM only making 16.9B

- Also rub it in by mentioning why there was no windfall tax on tech companies who benefitted greatly during the pandemic, while O&G who pays extra tax throughout the years at 40% got an extra 25% in their first year of profit.

- Show production profile forecasts for the coming years where they've reversed the decline+ potential impact of Timpan & Zama

- Announce more acquisitions in Indonesia

- Announce they will cancel their UK CCS projects as it's not deductible from the windfall tax and use the money allocated to fund a CCS project in Indonesia instead

- Then finally announce a change in their strategy and pivot to Indonesia or Far East and establish themselves as the leading independent O&G of that region with future plans for a secondary listing in either Hong Kong or Singapore or Indonesia

I hope TALOS will hold out. LC & co should not have agreed to anything yet until Wahoo & Pike is proven.

The Mexican government should see the benefit of a well-run Zama.
Low cost extraction will lead to higher profit oil.
This will actually help debt repayment of PEMEX + 80% government take after cost recovery!

- no massive discovery last year, 6tcf potential close to export routes found this year
- debt free by year end?
- HBR share.price: £3.50 last year, £3.50 this year

what's going on?
- Shell/Total CEO pay: £6M, HBR CEO pay: £6M
- insider knows exact dates of broker handover for buybacks?
- lots of trades not on exchange?
- no more trading updates?
