HBR just needs to confirm that it's close to their base to high case prognosis and then detail plans to appraise the other prospects.

The exploration well - Timpan-1 - is operated by Harbour Energy, which conducted the drilling and holds a 40 per cent stake in the field. The well ‘discovered a good gas quality column with the well test reaching a rate of 27 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (mmscfd/d) and 1,884 bbl/d of condensate’.

These findings are ‘especially important’ as it indicates that the adjacent Andaman I and South Andaman fields will also include under-explored resources. Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Petroleum holds an 80 per cent participating interest in Andaman I and South Andaman fields.

there's a rumor EIG is in talks to carve out 25% of Repsol .... but I think HBR can easily afford to hijack the deal now to just acquire repsol Indonesia for their corridor share and soon rencong while the bad news from sakakemang (75% reserves downgrade) is still being talked about in the region.

Great result, great test but RNS was quite cautious isn't it and what is wrong with this share price? Is everyone listening to a political scientist about oil & gas price?

Anyway, for those who are interested in some of my findings:

- In the submission to Indonesian ministry of environment/forestry, the Indonesian document says that the Timpan-1 DST only expects a rate of 15-50MMscf/D. So at 27MMscf/D + 1884bopd of condensate (CGR of 70bbl/MMscf), this must be close to their Base Case with the added bonus of light condensate?

- High API suggests quite a high proportion of Propane/Butane prices which is exactly what the market needs now as Asian refiners switch from Naphtha to Propane? No mention of high CO2 or H2S either so this is also a bonus!

- Timpan-1 not only proved the strong AVO responses are real but also proved the Bampo carbonate is productive (so I guess the well flowed without stimulation?). This opens up not only the Timpan Cluster (Timpan, Timpan Utara, Halwa Utara/Selatan) but also the Sangar cluster (Sangar Selatan, Sangar Utara, Gayo).

- So 6 Tcf confirmed with 420mmbbl of condensates? At a conservative 70% RF for the gas and 20% for the condensate, this would make it 4.2Tcf and 84MMbbl condensate. Value that at a flat $16/MMBtu and $80/bbl makes it worth 67.2B + 6.7B = 73.9B! Surely that would be commercial even if it costs 50B to rebuild that LNG plant?

- IHS has even done the economics for nearby Rencong prospect when the gas price was only $5/MMBTU and oil price $55/bbl in 2021 assuming low CGR of 15bbl/MMscf! It's now $16/MMBTU and $100/bbl and Timpan is 70bbl/MMscf! This would easily shift the MEFS to around 0.75Tcf or so. - HBR should just get that Repsol deal done before Rencong-1X is drilled. This company is going to transform into a giant gas company!

So EIG & partners already own 75.3% of total shares, why not just buy the rest of the 24.7% at current market share. It'll only cost them 720M!
