Aqaba, Jordan is just a few miles across from Eilat in Israel. This will lmpact P&O , Cunard, World cruises in 2024. K

You are right some of us LTH have seen £50 and £6. We also got $0.50c dividend each quarter pre Covid. We who cruise with Carnival brands also enjoy OBC which in my case has been in excess of £5k over the years.

Bhants, Lots of small deals, indicative of cruisers trading their holdings.

They are in it for OBC so likely hold the minimum in a lot of cases. K

RP , Agree and across several sectors.

I would start with Insurers, L&G, Aviva both sound , good dividend stocks. Then banks, Pharma, telecoms , travel & leisure and construction ( Travis in my case)

I keep 12 but also have 3 AIM penny stocks to play with, none of which are doing well, but "next year Rodney"

Have you looked at Premier African Minerals, PREM? It's taken a hit lately due to machinery issues at their Zulu ( Lithium ) mine which caused them to miss a couple of deadlines.

A good resource and a Chinese partner ( Canmax) eager to make it work , the SP at bargain basement IMHO. K

Dilution , hence the price drop today.

Some cruises will be impacted by the ME situation. The port for Petra , Aqaba is opposite Eilat in Israel. The UAE calls are likely to be impacted so the P&O and Cunard Worldie itineraries will certainly need changing.

What,with conflicts, environmental shut outs and logistical ( Panama Canal delays etc ) it's not all plain sailing ( forgive the pun )

My mate in Dallas just booked a Carnival Caribbean cruise for Feb 24.

Brochure price less 38% and fee upgrade to balcony. No surprise bookings are strong. K

The majority of crew are on short term contracts ( usually max 9 months) so it's unlikely they would renegotiate mid contract.
