RE: Update the market!11 Feb 2022 09:54
I can understand that some people are getting a bit twitchy, but you must understand that this is frontier exploration, and things do not always go as planned, expected or even hoped. We know this is difficult drilling - it was stated that drilling was suspended at 350m over the holiday period 'in difficult ground'. We know from a Ben interview that the drill rods broke at one point, but were fortunately retrieved. This is a very important borehole, and it is vital to get as complete a core as possible up to surface, so you will be drilling very, very carefully.. There is even a possibility that they have pulled back up a bit, wedged to divert the drill, and re-drilled at a very slightly different angle - small enough to retrieve core, but enough to get a second shot at the assumed orebody a few metres away from the first hole Maybe the mineralisation is very unusual, and the on-site geos want a second opinion. Lots of possibilities, none of them unusual, and not necessary to release an RNS, because it could be interpreted incorrectly by the market. You get the job done, then announce it.
In all these scenarios, there is a positive outcome. If TD had been reached with no evidence of mineralisation, that would have been RNS'd. Some of you have talked about selling down, or out, to de-risk. I can not offer any advice since I have no idea of your individual financial situations, nor your level of risk acceptance. All I can say is that I have not sold a bean, and continue to sleep soundly at night. Have a great weekend, and don't overdo it on Valentine's Day - oh, I just said I can't give advice, so ignore that.
