Hello DP. Not sure what you're getting at with TRR. I've bought a few there and will probably buy a few more when I get the chance-the chance being when I get the opportunity to take some profits from MTR-next week would be good.

PS just finished watching another dismal performance from the Baggies. Back in the Championship next year!

Chaps I hear what you are all saying but what we need here is something to incentivise new investors to part with their own money. I can't see many being persuaded to do that by by the Board granting themselves new options to make money for themselves. Talking about the SP reaching 45/60 won't actually get it there. Look at the chart for the past 5 years. Remove the consolidation and what has the SP done? A few short lived spikes but otherwise not a lot is the answer. We're all banking on the MRE to lift the mood and the SP but unless the NSR is sold , any benefit from that-other than a new spike probably. is several years away for SFR and lord knows when for KLM-I'm not sure I'll live long enough to see it let alone enjoy it. These new options shouldn't be necessary. Surely the Board are on enough without needing a license to print money to get them moving and as I said we need new investors on board 'cos I doubt the existing ones will be creating the demand to shift the SP. I know I won't be putting any more in - I'm already in way above what's sensible.

By the way I find the idea that these new options have been pushed through now to take advantage of the impact of news which the Board knows is about to break absolutely staggering. I just hope it's not true.

I'm inclined to agree with you DP-I think the BoD are in danger of losing their audience. My expectations are gradually getting lower and lower and I suspect I'm not alone. Someone asked on here, when the SP was around the 2.5/25p mark, "is this as good as it's going to get?". Maybe it will get a bit better-or maybe it won't- but unless the prospects are looking a lot better I can see a lot of people exiting if we ever reach 3p. On the subject of GGP, it looks to me as if MTR sold out in the second half of 2019 (although I'm still waiting to get confirmation of that from MTR) and yet the IC article which was published early this year still showed us holding 9m shares. If IC got it wrong (and they shouldn't have done!) why didn't MTR correct it? They should have done. Instead they appear to have perpetuated the error, which led to confusion on this forum as to what MTR's interest in GGP actually was. I think this latest RNS is a investor relations disaster. Just when the SP is stagnating /drifting lower for want of positive news what does the Board do? Release an RNS with details of them feathering their own nests. Aligning their interests with those of investors my a*se!!

Just read your post but at first only got as far as "the Big Kahuna had landed" which got me all excited and so I went straight to the RNS, What the devil's he talking about , I thought , this is just more swill in the trough for those more equal than the rest of us. So then I read the rest of your post. LOL indeed. Looking for positives-I doubt I'll have to worry about IHT for a good while yet!!

Hello TF1. You're right in what you say about the good points in the Results but we desperately need our big hitters to come up with a good score. We need the MRE from SFR to provide us with a figure to add to the balance sheet and improve the NAV which is lagging well behind the SP now. Several of the smaller investments are in profit and show great potential but we need good results from Cobre and KML to get things moving. We can't live off the SFR/MOD deal for ever.

A better day than I expected. It would be good to be at this sort of price (at least!) when Sandfire release the MRE.

Yes I hold a few THR as well. Funny, I'd more or less written them off and then out of the blue they get their very own monster news. Life's full of surprises!

Too few trades is the answer, TF1. Current LTHs won't sell at these prices but new investors won't come aboard either because they're still waiting for solid evidence ,as opposed to an expectation-however reasonable-that the assets are worth more than is priced in already. 16 trades today-might as well be none. The figures we're waiting for from SFR need to be good and/or we need "monster news" from Cobre/KML to attract new blood. MTR is still dragging the millstone of its past around, I fear.

I also sold GGP when it was peanuts. I have no idea how much I've lost out on-and I'm not going to look! I'd only end up crying.

Hello TF1. Yes, it seems the only thing that moves us up is an IC article! Once that's worked its magic we drift down again-MTR certainly doesn't like "calm". But never mind, it can't be long before we get some really good news from SFR which will hopefully get the SP moving. And at least at these levels I'm in profit, albeit quite modest bearing in mind I first invested well over 4 years ago.

What's our stake in LCL? Have we got the same number of shares as we have warrants?

They must have taken them up in the last few weeks because there was a discussion on here a week or 3 back about whether MTR held any shares in GGP, and I'm sure I checked the website and found the warrants listed then.

Can somebody please cut through the hype and give a realistic appraisal of these results. Thr's SP finished only 10% up on the ASX, suggesting there's not much excitement down there. 1P is still a long way off here and my break even is even further away. I'm still sceptical about the actual value of these rese results and even more sceptical about whether the SP is going to do anything spectacular in my lifetime(I'm into my 3 score years and 10s))
