You're right about MTR's "atoms".Most things , good or bad, happen when you least expect them. You wait patiently for weeks for good news, until you eventually give up looking for it and then out of the blue the RNS drops and faith is restored.

Unless something unforeseen comes along my intention at the moment is to hold until we reach at least 4p! Shouldn't be too long!

Seems like the 2.50 bid is triggering too many sells at the moment to get past it. Very short sighted approach to me but I suppose everyone has different objectives.

Just tried some dummy deals on HL-2.21 to sell and couldn't get a quote to buy.

Those last half dozen deals are obviously buys. It can't be that difficult to display them correctly!!!

Good morning TF1. You could be right re the action being found in SFR's favour but it will be a nuisance and take time to get sorted. Looking for the silver(and copper!) lining, someone on Hot Copper suggested any delay with regard to Black Butte might cause SFR to go full steam ahead with Botswana which can only be good for us, as it will bring the royalties on line that much sooner. Hope you're right about MTR's SP today.

SFR down 6%+ overnight-presumably a reaction to the news re their Black Butte project. Cobre back up to 20c tho' so that's good and big things expected on the GGP board this morning. be a decent day for us as well.

Have we ever not felt optimistic? Optimism is the only option-anything else and we'd be suicidal!!

I'm not sure why MTR made 2 announcements but there was definitely 1 on 29th May-which doesn't seem available any more-and was referred to in the posts on this board on that date (see page 6 of messages). The point I was alluding to was that I don't think there will be any fireworks today as far as the SP is concerned, but who knows-I shall not be complaining if there are!

Andybear, I think the annual report was first released on 29thth May, and £4m+ profit was known about last week.

I agree re Blackrock. Blackrock World Mining has served me well in the past and I still hold some now. They seem to have their wits about them. I've also bought some TRR this afternoon-it's a brilliant time to have a pile of cash to spend. Let's hope they spend it wisely.

Morning TF1-have no fear, Bonker made nothing out of me. I saw through him at a fairly early stage. Now, onto more important things-looking like I'll need another lie-down soon today as well! Consolidation-who needs a consolidation? We'll be up in the 20s soon at this rate!
