Is this LSE's way of trying to cheer us up? Bit late for April fool's day!

Up last night, Cobre up 33%, SFR and SAU more modest rises but up nonetheless.

The buy-back was a mixed blessing at best. Yes it took a few shares (relative to the total) out of circulation but it did absolutely nothing for the SP. MM's couple of purchases have done more for the SP than the buy back did. In my view MTR's cash is better kept for advancing its projects.

If we're seeing all the trades on here it's certainly not taking much to get the price moving. Long may it continue.

He still doesn't hold many tho', not a whole lot more than me and a lot of others on here I suspect. Some sustained buying by him would say more.

Bid up to 0.80 on the HL site. LSE a bit behind. Good job I didn't sell up this morning!

That last sentence looks promising. We could certainly do with some positive news to offset all the doom and gloom.

Both Cobre and Sandfire up last night, perhaps we'll get a bit of an uplift today as well. The panic has to stop sometime.

No, it's not a pretty picture at the moment-any of it, the markets or the wider picture on the economic or health front.

However volumes for MTR are still low and those two 1.4m "sells"could be just someone moving stock between accounts at a cost of a couple of hundred quid-not much compared with what's been lost lately. Most holders seem to be gritting their teeth and hanging on.

Yes I suppose that's the conclusion you have to come to in the absence of an RNS to the contrary although the December RNS did talk about "elevated Cu Values" from 5 of the holes.

I've lost track of what's going on with KML. Last October 7th there was an RNS re drilling at the Ngami and Okavanga projects but I can't find any updates on them since. There was an RNS on 6th December but it doesn't seem to be accessible. Can anyone enlighten me?
