He still doesn't hold many tho', not a whole lot more than me and a lot of others on here I suspect. Some sustained buying by him would say more.
Bid up to 0.80 on the HL site. LSE a bit behind. Good job I didn't sell up this morning!
That last sentence looks promising. We could certainly do with some positive news to offset all the doom and gloom.
Both Cobre and Sandfire up last night, perhaps we'll get a bit of an uplift today as well. The panic has to stop sometime.
You must have bl**dy good eyesight DP!
Got the arithmetic wrong-it's a lot less than £200-about £60 (I think!)
No, it's not a pretty picture at the moment-any of it, the markets or the wider picture on the economic or health front.
However volumes for MTR are still low and those two 1.4m "sells"could be just someone moving stock between accounts at a cost of a couple of hundred quid-not much compared with what's been lost lately. Most holders seem to be gritting their teeth and hanging on.
Thanks, Forest. I suppose the assayers must be under a lot of pressure again what with KML and SFR both drilling and wanting results.
Yes I suppose that's the conclusion you have to come to in the absence of an RNS to the contrary although the December RNS did talk about "elevated Cu Values" from 5 of the holes.
Thanks for the reply Forest. Shouldn't we have heard something re the assays by now?
I've lost track of what's going on with KML. Last October 7th there was an RNS re drilling at the Ngami and Okavanga projects but I can't find any updates on them since. There was an RNS on 6th December but it doesn't seem to be accessible. Can anyone enlighten me?
when it looks like it'll a good idea not to look at your portfolio!
P.S. Can you see what you can do for Thor?
P.P.S I realise miracles take a little longer.
Yep,keep up the good Work, Forest. You're singlehandedly pulling us back up, whilst all around are losing their heads-or whatever that bloke Kiplin (or was it somebody else?) said!
You took a big risk there TF1, tempting fate like that , but you've got away with it. Another red letter day tomorrow? Onwards and upwards (please?).
Jumping in with both feet....or just moving some shares around?
....start to the day. Volume not huge but at least the deals are buys, divi coming our way shortly from SFR.
May be gaining a bit of momentum now. I'm still intrigued as to why the buy back hasn't restarted. Perhaps the Board feels there's enough going for the SP now for it to make its own way forward. or perhaps there's another deal in the pipeline and close to fruition keeping us in a closed period. I'm still to be convinced that a run of the mill investment in another company puts us in a closed period so I'm wondering, if we are in a closed period, whether there's something bigger brewing, although I couldn't guess at just what that might be.
Any thoughts anyone.
