after too many years14 Feb 2020 08:20
when I naiively tried long term investment on aim, I have come to the following conclusions.
1: long term rarely works on AIM
2: the purpose of being listed on aim is to raise cash - there WILL be a fundraise at some point.
3: many (most?) bods can't be trusted.
4: many (most?) posters on bbs are simply trying to move the sp. oddly, it does seem to work.
so, strategy now is, short term, between the fundraises and in line with the underlying bb sentiment.
NEVER believe in the story from the company.
most companies, with the obvious exception of val try to get a sp rise BEFORE they raise funds. if sp is rising and the company is short of cash, don't stay in too long!
question: why has val NEVER raised funds off the back of a rising sp, but ALLWAYS at the lowest possible point?
