RE: RNS consolidation and more shares30 Jan 2020 14:25
preemptive rights would mean existing shareholders had the right to buy at same time/price as the issue of new shares. allows protectiuon against dilution. they are not allowing this so - screw you (us)!
true, thanks for posting. I wonder why they told me property? I didn't ask, it was volunteered. oh well, I actually don't care who it is as long as it happens soon :)
I was told by a bod member sometime back that although they couldn't tell me the buyer they could say they had large property interests. I believe this (sound) investment might be their first gas investment. I also seem to remember we were all told it was a private UK company. I would look for a large UK (private) property company looking to diversify and with either a cash pile or access to significant funds.
a few facts. irrespective of previous raise sound have a payment they need to make (cliff edge deadline was the term GM used to me) in 14 days. they DO NOT have the money. The CAN'T issue shares below nominal value. sp is below nominal value. their choices Iif indeed they still have time to have a choice) are consolidate and try to raise cash. call in admin. anyone buying now needs their head examined. their best hope would be that their investment is diluted and hit by consolidation very very soon after buying.
iceman, either you can't read or you are very new yo investing. in your own post it says "new ordinary shares of 0.03125p each ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 0.05 pence per share"
they issued at 0.05 when the nominal value is 0.03 (less thasn issue price!)
NO, you are wrong. it is absolutely impossible to raise funds below nominal value. this is precisely why val changed their nominal value before the last consolidation. check the regulations.
where you put your money is your business, but I STRONGLY suggest you mail GM and check about the e-mails first. I would also suggest thinking about the implications of the share price being below nominal value and what that means to their ability to raise ESSENTIAL funds very soon.
so you are saying I am lying? fair enough, you don't know me, but why don't you ask him yourself and then an apology might be appropriate. I have not / have no intention of buying or selling val shares now or in the future, other than the missguided purchases I made years ago.

I think most people have so little cash value left at these prices they are willing to simply let the dice roll. it makes little difference if they (I) sell at this price or let it go into admin and lose it all. holding on at least gives you a chance, however small, of a return.

I have no access to twitter, facebook etc. all blocked by work. I only use work phone and laptop. I don't own another. OK, so that may seem odd to many, but I use screens for work, not pleasure.

having seen the mails now I can say they look pretty convincing and damming. for what it's worth the language / typos etc in the mails from GM do look very similar to the type of thing I've received (on different topics) from him in the past. at the very very least there seems to be major confliuct amongst the bod.
