buy/sell ration without a large pop up in price can indicate a large buyer request that is being filled by MM.
usually after 4.30pm they then process the buys, and then we see a pop in price in tomorrow.

lots of shares are far down today, the whole market is getting shaken with the US bailing out banks.
the world markets need to de-couple of the US markets more to stop these flash crashes because of their shoddy lending practices.
However, if you read the buy/sells, you can see that everything is getting eaten, and that there are lots of good buys being hid in sells to avoid causing the price to ping upwards.

good thing you closed your short, the UK Gov is gearing the economy towards the over 50 market, expect Saga to get some good injections of revenue as spill over.
