Remember that Berkshire Hathaway traces its roots to a textile manufacturing, and Warren Buffett has always said he always wish he had a successful clothing company as the original purchase of Berkshire was a dud.
So maybe the old guy (sorry Warren, I mean that with the upmost respect), is having one final play into the fashion sector while he is with us.

If the business fundamentals are looking good then now would be the time while the price is still low with a view to the market getting back on it feet over the next few years.

I think ultimately where Darktrace will come undone is the size of their userbase and lack of B2C integrations/touchpoints.

This is where Microsoft and Broadcom are in winning positions, their reach in order to harvest data is vast, and for training AI and converting revenue they are vastly superior to Darktrace.

To be clear, I'm not be negative to Darktrace, I'm just rationalising their place in the market and factors that will affect them.
