National express are an essential business, their revenue streams are constant.

By expansion into the US Education Transport Sector and Germany they are balancing their portfolio for growth.

Their results were good, and looking like a health return to business.

if we get any large buys this will jump fast, and appears that the current drift down is being driven by auto's.

Solid business, making money and have a strong moat.

good growth in the USA and Germany for more revenue.

appears that there is some last tree shaking happening to to gather what free shares there are.

Expect this to start rallying up fast (look at trainline share).

business was always going to be slow this month with all the bank holidays, combined with the general lock up of fre chase in the market due to so many shares being down.
However, to my eyes it looks like at this current level there will be serious averaging down and bulk buys behind the scenes, so expect once they get posted it will jump to the 140 to 160 region fast, level and then start the move to the 180 region where it will hold for a bit while the market goes back into deciding if its boom or bust globally.

it would appear that the drift down is 2 factors:
1) people cutting after getting their dividend payment
2) the general market being down, so the available cash to move to this share is currently limited.

everything is looking good for this company, they are making money, are an essential service.
as such, happy to buy now and hold with a view to double return on investment.

How much would be fair value for a fund to acquire, maybe £1.5B?
Share is vastly under valued here.

great move by LLOY, spend X amount on buybacks, then give a big dividend to pay off a lot of the cost of the buybacks.

considering the global economy, SVB issues, and well the world since 2020, the results were good.
