Yeah, £25 would be about right for a £4b a year revenue = £40b over 10 year to buy for £2.5b seems about right.

If they put a bid in of £15, then could see a race up to the £25 level once that door is open.

in regards to my comments on Asos, i outlined that the CEO needs to turn the ship, and judging the last RNS and their comments this is happening, so I am now happy for this company.

the shorts are trying to cut and run now, they see the writing on the wall.

if an RNS lands of increase of holding to major holders then this will be off to the races.

@HeresHopin, I just want to burn the shorts on this one, however if truth be told I think this shares is vastly undervalue at the moment based on the new direction and profit making.

I'm currently in profit on this share, its the people holding from anything over the 10 region that I feel bad for.

CEO always said that the September 2022 to Feb 2023 results would be poor due to them clearing old product and spending money to turn the business around.

The CEO said that this H2 they would start to show profit, and have fixed some major stuff in the company to ensure the £4billion a year revenue gives more profit!

The interim report was the period for the six months to 28 February 2023.

As such, moving into the period from March 2023 is where we will see the affect of this, and seeing as the CEO made a specific statement about returns we can expect that the new policy is making an impact as they have the figures from reporting.

H2 2023, from February to August 2023 based on what the CEO has said should be a great time of this company maturing into a profit generating business!

Considering they paid £300m for Top-Shop et al, this makes the current price for a £4billion revenue company a no brainer for a takeover offer from a USA Fund or Apollo.

All this "return" to the highstreet is utter rubbish, people are avoiding the high street due to crime.

Asos are in a strong position.

And the negative figures are due to them having to clear house, and now they can look to posting great results for H2, easily expect this to go towards the 20's again by the end of the year.
