the interesting thing about this share, is that due to be such a small free float, PI (private investors), could actually buy up enough of the stock to effectively screw the shorts.
if 500 investors bought about £10k each = £5m = 714K Shares
This would force the shorts to have to close and make the Private Investors a good 20 to 30% profit.

its a tactic they are using across a lot of shares at the moment while most are in Easter holidays still and/or money is tied up in other shares that are down.
They are holding the price down with small sells and spoofing, while buying what they can to sell into their mates at a small guaranteed profit.
Expect next week this to start moving back towards the 800 region fast.
Fact is, the high street is dead due to retailers exiting and due to how dangerous the UK streets have become.
So alot of shopping that would have been done in Oxford Street in London for instance is now going through Asos.

shares are tightly held now, the drag down is market factors (slow easter hols period). once the MM have filled what they can the price will move back fast.
The shorts know the situation now, they missed cutting in the 500's and now looks like they will miss the 700's if they dont buy up and close position soon.

times are tough for everyone, its about who survives and has market position for when the good times come back.
and with the death of the high street speeding up, it looks like Asos will be a winner.

looks like any big sells are being eaten up, expect this to race back to the 120 regions fast with averaging down happening.
The business is still good and in profit, the macros of the past year temporary weighing them down.
However, with China and Russia being more aggressive in cyberspace, the need and use of digital security is growing again.

bargain, maybe. takeover target or merger, very maybe given the state of the tech market at the moment.
crucially they are still reporting a profit, which at the moment is the most important factor.

knowing the market expect an attack on price to get the final sellers and cheap shares.
if so shake down to 140's again then push back to the 170's after Easter.

Looks like a 9m share deal was done behind the scenes at 7am today, they are gathering any available shares while cheap and selling them to a big buyer.
Currently it appears they are trying to keep the share price pinned down to accrue.

last of the sellers clearing, available stocks being eaten up, nice consolidation, platform building.

their pension pot is gonna to play havoc, they need to look to spinning out some parts of the business to pay down debt.

Sales People jumping ship from both.
Both are having massive issues with confusion of resellers.
VOD as a brand is not liked by the youth who want large data for cheap.
And BT is now tooooo big, with internal discussions to sell of parts of the business to pay the pension pot.
