I'll hold through results because I expect an upward revision in flight hours expectations. I am, however, unsure about the Bergen and ITP aero sales. I think if they sold, it'll of course be a short term boost to the SP with more surety that RR will survive in some, if lesser, form. But ultimately holding onto them and somehow navigating its way through this crisis all the same would obviously be good for Rolls long term recovery potential. A firesale of profitable and useful assets was never ideal. If improved flight hours expectations can sure up the balance sheet enough, and obviate the need to sell, then I would also be happy to hold longer, for a higher potential recovery price.

At the end of February we were back up to 70,000 commercial flights, compared to 108,000 at the same time in 2019. That is currently 64% of 2019 levels. The trend is also markedly upwards, such that one might expect to see at least 75-80,000 Mar/Apr onwards, which would be 70%+ for the rest of year (and perhaps 80%+ if that trend back to normality continues). I think that Rolls will have to amend their flight hours expectations quite significantly, unless they expect a further deterioration in air travel - of which there seems to be no evidence yet. But it's very hard to extrapolate a yearly reduction to 55% flight hours from the data that is available.

The chart for Friday and today looks identical to the 23rd -24th of Feb, last week. On the 26th it opened over 5% up. Hoping for the same tomorrow morning.

A SP of 450p would give RR a market cap of £37bn.

You're being asked to extend the same courtesy to others. The amount of vitriol you spew daily on this forum is unacceptable. I've held since I bought in last month, but were I to attempt to day trade I wouldn't tolerate being abused by you in the way you've abused others here. You've bought since the 1980s and you'll never sell - we've heard your trading position and your strategy going forward, everyone has heard it; now can you keep your contributions on topic to the SP. You've yet to post anything factually significant to the share or the company, other than a blind belief that in 40 years time it'll be up.

You're quoting the post-dilution adjusted equivalent share price for December 2019. In reality it was 850p or something like that, so multiply that by the original pre-dilution quantity of shares.

Agreed, similar to december, retrace at lunchtime and stormed up another 10% by close. Here's hoping ^^

Seems to have some momentum, hopefully might even finish above 100, which would be good place to launch off tomorrow if the market takes the minutiae of this evening with some degree of positivity re: travel.
