Rr101, it's not so much that it's ambitious, but rather extrapolating from the history of price movements here. Expecting it to open 120 and brush 123 by lunchtime. Yes, it won't make much sense given that sentiment has turned slightly negative, but it's not turned enough to justify 3 consecutive drops.

I actually think it'll bounce on Monday, back to 122ish. Last two days the sell off was too quick, and a lot of that was already pricing in the spikes in Europe, which was not new news, but a situation most might have noticed evolving over the last fortnight. Key long haul destinations like the US, the UK and China are looking better numbers-wise. That Brazil, India, turkey, Germany, Poland and Italy are having new waves is obviously not good, but not necessarily deleterious to RR's flight hours expectations.

I think the gaps I mentioned the other day are now filled, and it'll start ticking upwards again into next week.

A 7% plunge in oil prices tonight would suggest the markets are a little spooked by something. Since oil is the commodity most dependant on and indicative of a recovery, might be a warning for recovery stocks tomorrow. Not quite sure what's caused it though.

At the risk of being accused of deramping, I'm just a bit cautious this week. Looking at the chart and the history of price movements here recently, it looks like we *might* have to have a go at retesting the 118 as support before we kick on to try 134. It seems to take two big steps forward and 1 step back before trying on the new level for size for a few weeks.
It's not likely there's going to be a single news event (like the vaccine announcements) that propels it up 50% in an afternoon, but rather a steady incremental rise where it bounces between supports and resistance.

Still as bullish, but prepared for this to swoop down to 119 over the next few trading days. It rose a tad too quickly and you get the sense it wants to consolidate before continuing the rally.

I have. I'm after the investor sentiment towards it. LTHs will have their own interpretations and expectations.

Personally, I wasn't interested in cine. Of the three, it's the one that, in my opinion, is least likely to survive. That's not to say cinema won't survive, I believe that will return... but it's hard to imagine that those cinemas operating post-covid will be Cineworld, given the state of their finances.
I think it was telling that they proposed such a gargantuan bonus inventive for management should they pull off a recovery (because the reality is they're unlikely to do so, so why not promise them a trillion dollars apiece?). The current rally in its share price, while great if you're in it, seems overdone and based on an unlikely path to stabilization.

Rolls is a far safer and more lucrative bet for the long term.

That's the sort of ballpark expectation here. £1.50 near term, perhaps moving towards £2.00 depending on how much momentum it can build and if the prevailing market sentiment allows it. Hard to make guesses that would mean anything beyond that.

No, you have a £20K per year allowance to add funds to an ISA. Any profits you make on money within that ISA are tax free. So, you'd be investing in shares within a stocks and shares ISA, and making tax free profit, so long as it's kept within that wrapper. It doesn't work the other way around, you can't dump profits into an ISA to avoid paying CGT on those profits.

Looks likely that now that 117 is the new support.

They raise the target when the share price goes up, and lower it when the share price goes down. It's all super precise scientific sticking finger in the air and seeing which way the wind is blowing advanced math, but unfortunately they're only ever as accurate as a stopped clock.

I'm a little more bullish than that. I expect to see a further 30-35% rise in the near term (the next 50 days) to ~£1.50 to £1.60. Beyond that, it's less clear but confident in the current momentum and SP prospects.
