Wherever there is strife, civil war, annexation, you can bet your bottom dollar the US/West will be involved in some shape or form. Take India, it became India and P.akistan, the British having ruled for so long, literally left middle of the night, leaving behind communal violence, and exodus of some 15 million people, migrating from side to the other. The British had duty of care to ensure a peaceful partition, but no, they left at the 11th hour!!

Thanks for taking time out to explain.
It appears the GAP is the Bermuda triangle of shares, sooner or later it will suck in the SP and the gap will get filled. Even though I'm sceptical, but quick Google does say gaps get filled 9 out of 10.

Geng, I'm curious, so, what if the trial news had been positive, and lets say the SP had shot to £3 plus, some peeps were mentioning £5 plus, and subsequent trials were also successful, the gap would have remained un-filled?

Unless I'm mistaken, the GAP got created at some point, maybe weeks or months earlier, and the charts/TA were expecting it to be filled, it got filled albeit on bad news, from a technical aspect I get that. It still sounds bit like joining the dots after the event.

Do GAPS ever remain open?

Its not a case of not wanting to be convinced, right from the offset I said charts, TA have their place, they go hand in hand with Fundamentals. I have read your posts over the years, I think you were on iii as well.

Charts/TA is like marmite, love it or loath it :)

Baring leaks, charts/TA cannot predict the impact of takeovers, successful discoveries (in oil/gas) on the SP.

Just to ask, as a result of un-successful trial or something on those lines, SNG crashed to tune of 90% yesterday, from £1.70 ish to 25p, could charting/TA have predicted that?

Based on the recent geopolitical events, I'm wondering whether the BOD will place greater urgency on the liquidity event?
The BOD have top notch credentials, to date they have demonstrated they are aligned with the shareholders and are committed to increasing shareholder value. However, the events of the past 24 hours goes to show you can never be in total control, never leave something for tomorrow if you can do it today!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, its easy to find pointers to justify afterwards.

Charts, TA are extremely useful, they cannot predict the future (in literal sense).
You quoted 11th Feb, in the absence of clarity, this will mover lower, even to 2.5, and that happened today. No amount of clarity would have stopped it going to 2.5p, just look at the markets and their reaction to VP's move.

Charts, TA, tarot card readings do not predict the actions of a tyrant.

Justinterested15, agree what what you say too, we are allowed to question market behaviour, via FCA I think. There are rules the BOD should follow and adhere to, and its SP Angel job to ensure the company follows the laid out rules.

FCA, and SP Angel, both don't fill me with confidence, I rest my case :)

Just a simple note, sincerely sorry to see whats gone on here today, many many people will be sitting on big paper losses, or many would have sold out with big losses, very sad. I was in ODX until this morning, decided to call it a day with that shambolic of company, walked away with small loss.

Whatever you position and situation, I wish you the very best, and hope you can recoup your losses in some shapre or form.

We don't have any control over or how the markets behave
However, we do have the right to expect timely and accurate updates from RY, and for the BOD to add shareholder value value. We have vast resources which are in total demand, there's a metals super cycle, EV is the future, yet our mushroom CEO is missing in action.

As shareholders we shouldn't have to guess or second guess, we should be informed accurately and timely

Just think back how the US reacted when the USSR tried installing missiles in Cuba, the reverse is happening now with Ukraine , in that it wants to Join NATO, NATO would like it to join too, and the Russians don't want US/NATO military bases at their doorstep!

Russia is labelled as the aggressor, yet the US has fought more wars and invaded more countries since WW2, who's the real aggressor? Hypocrisy comes to mind!

Lets hope this all blows (no pun intended) over and the BOD get the sale over the finish line

Just don't get people who badmouth a share they're suppose to be in, and if they're not in, surely they have better things to do? Unless of course they want in lower.....wow, it might be the latter lol

You called it right, but your call was based on nothing, just a simple shout.

None of us foresaw the Ukraine situation, let alone EUA, most stocks and markets are being hit, so don't get too excited that you#re some kind of stock marking guru. Last eek and over the weekend even I could have said the markets will be down on Monday, doesn't and wouldn't have made me a genius.

The drag on the SP was expected, not because of fundamentals, lack of resources and etc, the drag is due to UKRAINE!

If the Russians do go in, the conflict will be localised, short and sharp, SP will suffer and eventually recover

If the US and West get involved, it could turn messy and nasty, the conflict could be localised with some use of tactical warfare. On the other hand, it could all spiral out of control and turn into www3, in that case we don't need to worry about the SP because we're all be dead!!

Sorry, those are the scenarios I see playing out, lets hope all sides see sense and bring some common sense to the negotations.

The issue/debate is not about AMC or its resources, they are proven, or being proved, I'm happy to wait another 2-3 year for full value monetisation.

My gripe is the lack of comms blackout in general, we shareholders always the last to know, the licensing issue was discovered by Frak? The recent press speculation forced the BOD to issue an RNS, missed deadlines, poor or no excuses for missed deadlines, whilst the BOD take their salaries.

Perhaps the debate should be flipped, is the BOD credible?

Done plenty of DD in my time, I know when I'm being hoodwinked, or something doesn't stack up.

Basic research won't and doesn't reveal everything, need years of investment experience (whether it be good, the bad or the ugly) to separate fact from fiction.

Agree with your points regarding whats happening here at AMC, I posted something similar earlier on today.

I'm also in EUA, different kettle of fish altogether, the BOD have massive skin in the game, regular communications, low cost mining, they have outlined their road-map and stratgegy, big names working on the deal for past 2 years, big names don't work on no win no fee basis, the latest RNS numbers stack upto $180b value in the ground. Also, the BOD have been with the company for 20 years or so, they have also taken shares in lieu of salary's at times, they will only make money by selling the company/assets, the BOD will win and so will the shareholders.

As with anything, nothing is certain until I see money in my bank account
