SP should have never reached the depths of sub 2p...so there's a lot not to like.

accumulation prior to RNS, RNS released SP goes up by almost 100%, accumulator in the money, at some point if no deal, price goes back to 2p and below, accumulator walks away with a tidy profit and we're left holding the baby.

I'm sure I'm not the only person thinking on these lines, hence my reference 'shareholders'

I emailed AMC few mins ago, my message fao the RY. Not going to post the content here, but the main theme of message was on the lines of:-

1. Why did the company fail to communicate with its shareholders regarding the potential bid/sale, it took press leak to
force an RNS

2. Since the RNS, why the total silence? we shareholders expect and demand updates (nothing which would hinder
negotiations.

3. We shareholders need to make informed decisions regarding the potential sale, therefore the publication of TEO is a
must.

4. Bidder must have seen or has access to TEO details, why is it not being published to the shareholders?

5. Recent trading pattern and accumulation over the past 2-3 months, does not sit well with shareholders, therefore will
engage with FCA.

Probably wont get a response

I am not able to giving you advice in this as you are not a client of SP Angel
But:
Lots of companies hold discussions in secret – as sometimes these discussions lead to nothing
Publication of discussions might also lead to the buyer backing away for a variety of reasons
The timing of an RNS depends on many things. Normally an RNS will be made when a deal has been agreed or when information has come into the market by another route

I do not believe Amur is not subject to the UK Takeover Panel code

My point, AMC has similar theme and feel to it, all hush hush, discussions in the background, forced RNS, and 7p on the table (so to speak), its like the BOD are telling us be grateful for the offer and take it!

Time will tell whether this has been orchestrated and leads to nothing for us shareholders.
Not sure if people remember BOA (Baobab Resources), was AIM listed. Its SP went from 10p ish to high of 48p over period of 12 months or so, and then it started its slow descent. Over a period of some 24 months, SP went down to 4p's, during which time the drilling campaign returned top class results, resulting in close to 1b tonnes of high grade iron ore.

Then, out of the blue, whilst the SP was at 4p, the company announced due to difficult market conditions, ie. unable to raise additional funds at attractive terms, the company will be de-listing and go private, in return it offered existing shareholder 6p are the buy-out price, 50% premium at the time of the announcement.

My point, AMC has a similar theme and feel to it, all hush hush, discussions been going on for some time, forced

I've been saying the same thing. The potential sale and dealings have been going on for some time, RY was forced to RNS.

My take, the deal will be presented fait accompli....this is not based on any gut feeling, tea leaves or tarot card reading, its based on the fact the BOD have form.

Dont be surprised or shocked if a deal is done before publication of the TEO, or we may never get to see the TEO.

If we dont get to see the TEO, then we should refuse any deal the BOD proposes

News could come today, tomorrow, this week, next week, next month, we don't know, however, we do know at some point NEWS will come. Depending on the NEWS and ones investment position, there will be joys or tears.

Its not hilarious one bit, the BOD to even entertain it for more than 30 seconds is an insult us shareholders and our intelligence.

Have the BOD put any meat on the bone? Apart from the forced RNS, where is the communication, i.e. are they giving it serious consideration? or have they rejected the offer? or are they waiting on counter bids?

I'm not expecting RY/BOD to divulge information which may hinder their negotiations, but I'm expecting them to provide sufficient info to halt assumptions, guesswork by us, the shareholders.

Communication blackout is the norm for this BOD, lets hope just for once they'll be open and transparent

Good, simple number crunching, so based on £20b resource valuation, current the bidder is offering 0.5%, folks read that again, 0.5% of £20b !!!

A realistic offer should be in the region £750m (minimum), good return for shareholders and ample return for the buyer over 15-20 years

In a strange way, we know the answer, unfortunately the deal will benefit the BOD and the buyer but not us, the humble shareholders. AIM is like the wild west, un-regulated, no law and order, anything and everything goes!

I really want this to end in a positive, not just for myself, but all the holders on here, whether they be lth's or newbies, will AMC break the mould and be remember for creating shareholder value, time will tell.

In the main I agree, however, we need to consider

LTH's, want and deserve better than 7p, this is once in a lifetime opportunity, the metal's super-cycle reminds me of the .com boom, with one clear difference, metals are real, building blocks for a greener future.

Recent investors, assuming the deal goes thru @ 7p, anyone who bought sub 4p stand to make approx 70% and a bit, not bad for holding out for a few months.

Lth's want a decent ROI, most be happy with 15-20p, newbies will happily settle for 7p, and there lays the dilemma.

Having said all that, we need to see the TEO, only then can we value the resource and decide whether @ £100m we're being short changed, I believe we are being short changed, thats just my view.

This is AIM, and we're dealing with RY, NOMAD is just a token gesture, window dressing if you like, quite a toxic mix, on that basis, anything and everything is possible.

Remember, we're merely the shareholders, always the last in the know!!

We in the UK buy Chinese made products left, right and centre, we buy gas from Russia, lets start boycott everything these t countries supply and sell, and lets see how far we go?

Also, whilst we're at it, lets boycott Saudi oil, lets ban middle eastern countries and their wealthy families buying football clubs, casino's, and lets also ban and strip them of horse racing and every other lavish British even !!
