Why are we even discussing who's winning the war?
If Russian wanted, it could launch a full scale assault, with its full arsenal of military hardware, missiles would rain down on Ukraine!

None of us want to see that, every sane person wants this conflict to end, loss of life on both sides, this is a vanity conflict, which could easily spiral out of control...god forbid.

Lets just hope and pray enough pressure is placed on Putin to stop the carnage, and that both Russian/Ukraine can agree to some common terms

Up and down, across the country, people are clearly upset with the scenes coming out of Ukraine, loss of 1 life is 1 life lost too many!!

At time of the 1st Gulf war, people believed what they were told or what they saw on the TV, with advent of the Internet and Social media platforms, people get to see, hear and read different versions of a story or an event.

For example, the on-going conflict, here in the West its being reported completely different to how its being reporting in the Middle East, Asia, Far East and other place. People are a lot more savvy and streetwise, knowledgeable and have info at hand, people these days do not swallow what they hear or see, especially with UK/US track record.

We in the West/US are not angelic, we together with the US, invaded Iraq under the guise of going in to seek and destroy WMD, what did we find? ZERO

Saddam was toppled, was that not regime change? which is against international law, we split the country half, resulted in civil war, Suni vs Shia Muslims, left the country in tatters, carnage, hundreds thousands died, where was the wall to wall coverage? Where was the out crying for those dead children? I guess they didn't matter, because they weren't close to our shores, I guess they didn't matter because they were in a far away land, and I guess they didn't matter because they were non-white and of a different religion?

The likes of Blair, Bush and others should take a deep hard look in the mirror, think of the untold carnage they caused to protect 'Western Interests'

Its only natural for shareholders to 'wobble', or feel nervous, especially this moment in time with the on-going conflict, sanctions and counter sanctions.

Until the BOD provide clarity and sale update, i.e. what, how much and when, we will continue to second guess, debate, argue and counter argue all day long.....depending on the strength of the argument and confidence factor, the SP will swing by the odd 10-15%, ii's, mm's, shorters' and traders will are benefiting

Ukraine joining NATO was the red line, and the Russians had been saying it for ages. You're right, currently there are no nukes in Ukraine, but, Ukraine becoming a member of NATO, what you think NATO/US would place there, tulips and daffodils?

Had or if Ukraine joins NATO, NATO/US would setup forward military and air force bases within striking distance of mainland Russian. The Russians have done a preemptive strike by invading Ukraine (totally wrong in my book), one to give a clear message to Zelensky and the West/NATO, and secondly they're using this as an opportunity to create the corridor between themselves and Crimea.

Unfortunately, the casualty of any war is the civilians, loss of life, damage and etc...all of this could have been avoided had both sides seen sense, but no, one side we have a madman, and on the other side we have Zelensky, his masters promising him false hope. I think the conflict has gone on for longer than anybody expected, it will only end when side or the other wins or concedes.

On your point 2, it was too late for the US to invade Cuba, the Russians had parked their missiles, doing so would have resulted in www3

But, remember also, RY said TEO would be completed and published Q4 2021, its now end of Q1 2022. RY/BOD have missed endless deadlines, its beyond a joke.

If RY/BOD were so clever and smart, they should have been one step ahead of the EV revolution, they should have seen it coming, they should have completed all the in-house work to ensure AMC was the brightest star in the sky, thats what you call the BOD earning their corn.

We have the resource, no doubts about it, is this BOD capable of going into production? No
Is this BOD capable of negotiating the best deal for a £30b asset, in my opinion, NO

I'm here because I'm locked in, don't want to sell on a loss, after 7 years of hold I'm expecting break even and some. From an investment perspective, not a good return, lessons learnt.

My take, if there was no conflict, we'd still be sitting here and be waiting comms from the RY/BOD

In my 20 years of investing, this is one of the most inept BOD I've come across, they have total disregard for the shareholders, they have and will continue to keep us in the dark until forced top do otherwise.

Just remember, RNS forced out on the 25th Jan, conflict started on 24th Feb, even during those 4 weeks we heard nothing, and of course the BOD will hide behind NDA'S....comedy gold!

In my opinion, directors of AIM companies with zero sales/revenue, should be on base salary's, they should get paid incentives based on achieving company and shareholder value.

2015, SP hit highs of 40p, seven years later we're at sub 2p, yet the likes of RY have drawn handsome salaries.

Unfortunately its not just about ending of the conflict, my fear is the sanctions and counter sanctions will go on for years to come. At some the BOD will have to make a decision to come out of the bunker

How is the above different to when Russia (USSR) placed nukes on Cuban soil? One could have argued at the time the Russians wont attack the US.....but look back at the US reaction at the time

We're not sure if there is a buyer, we got told there is a potential buyer and the BOD are in discussions, what have they been discussing for the past 8 weeks? Not expecting details, not even a comforting RNS on the lines of discussions are proceeding as planned.

Going by past performance, the discussions will collapse and we'll get an RNS, or, we'll be told to accept an offer in the region of 7p, with a caveat that if we don't, the company faces uncertainty as it wont be able to fund it to go into production . As for the TEO, in my opinion it will not see the light of day, otherwise it will spark an outrage that the BOD are even entertaining an offer in the region of 7p, when in reality AMC is worth multiples of 7p.

I love to be proven wrong, and love RY to pull a rabbit out of the hat, but right now, he needs to pull finger out of his a.ss first

The things you mention, none of them have given you a return on your investment, but during the course of the past 7 years the BOD have rewarded themselves handsomely thru salaries and options.

Very simple, an explorer should go into production at the earliest opportunity, or sell up and return cash to the shareholders, playing the long drawn game only benefits the BOD, not us the PI's

Some really valid points being posted today...
For a long time, AMC has been about smokes and mirrors, we the invested have always been kept in the dark.
For example, 2015, the mining license, I think it was user called FRAK who discovered we had been granted the license, only then did the BOD issue an RNS. Same as this alleged sale, the BOD were forced into releasing an RSN.

RY and the BOD have form, totally disregard for the shareholder...period.
In terms of salary sacrifice, no chance, this a gravy train for them, why would RY give up his £200k/year salary? Since 2015, he's drawn some £1.4m in salary, where is the ROI? what has RY and the BOD delivered in terms of shareholder value? In fact, they have done the opposite, they have decimated shareholder value.

I get AMC is an explorer, they have next to zero income, and thats why its even more imperative for an explorer to go into production, or get taken out, RY and the BOD have achieved neither. They have prolonged the end game process, and quite frankly it suits them, but not us!!

True, AMC have money in the bank, enough for the BOD to draw salaries whilst stringing us along...in my book not a great option.

Also, if the conflict was to end tomorrow, does anyone really think the risks would also disappear overnight?
