Correct, the Russians started this conflict, and they're 100% in the wrong, but, have you asked yourself why the Russians started this? We all know, this damn thing didn't happen overnight, this damn thing had been brewing and simmering for past 2 decades, the Russians, NATO and the US had been sparing on and off, and finally it reached boiling point.

I'm not for 1 second condoning the Russian aggression, but I'm looking at the bigger picture, suggest you open your eyes and ears, look and listen beyond the narrative on the evening news.

100% its a proxy war, and 100% the US is pulling the strings, they'll want this conflict to go on for as long as possible, with the aim of weakening the Russian military, but more importantly the US wants to weaken/destroy Russia economically. My take, doing so, repercussions and ripples will be felts across the globe..but hey, as if the US ever cares about anybody else other than themselves.

Military wise the US is uber strong, financially they are bankrupt and on their knees, you can bet your bottom dollar the Pentagon have conducted many what if scenarios well before all this kicked off, and some smart a.ss will have modelled ROI, yes, even some wars return a profit for the US, just look across the middle east, and you'll discover what the US have safeguarded for themselves. For example, the US didn't lead the liberation of Kuwait because they felt sorry the people of Kuwait, they did it to secure oil/gas for the next 50-100 years at rock bottom deals.

We need a swift end to this conflict, else civilians will suffer in the carnage. Surely there has to be some common ground somewhere? or perhaps both sides are too reluctant to concede and are now looking for a face saving compromise? Whatever they're looking for, they better do it sooner than later, all I know politicians don't get caught in the crossfire, ****roaches normally d.ie last !

Surely you dont have come here to protest against the Russian invasion/aggression? I'm sure there are better ways and platforms where you can air your views and condemn Putin and his actions, unless you here to invest too, aiming to get in at a lower SP?

Lets be clear, I despise this conflict, I hate whats going on, loss of life on both sides, but I'm not ashamed to say I'm invested here, at times get a little nervous, at times feel confident, but ultimately I want the best returns so I can give my two young stepsons the best possible start in life, if thats a crime, then go feck off!

Right now, as much as it pains me to see the shorters winning, and the lth's suffering, its best the BOD stay silent.
At some point when things calm down, I'm of no doubt the BOD will release company making news, until such time we're in a rinse/repeat cycle, as I stated many times, stay put and top up if you can, sell, sell and don't come back :-)

Russia is a taboo/dirty word right now, every man and his dog wants to distance themselves, not helped by the US making statements such as 'you're either with us', or 'against us', as a result Russia is being dumped by almost every nation and business (barring BRICS). I'm sure majority of the Russian people are just like you and I, ordinary, hard working and trying to better their lives for themselves and their loved ones. I really feel for the Ukrainian people, but I have empathy for the Russian people too.

Looking back, the silence and lack of clarity existed before the conflict kicked off
I remember post suspension, sorry I can't remember name of the poster, but he/she said we may not get anything meaningful until March 2021, at that time that posted got blasted from the armchair know it all's.

Here we are, a year on from Q1 2021, and still none the wiser. The BOD are highly competent, they have skin in the game, they have worked hard for the past 20/25 years, yet for the life of me, I'm scratching my head and trying to fathom our why we're not getting news/updates and numbers

We can all assume and conjecture reasons behind no news, I'm struggling myself why the BOD is reluctant to update us and the markets with meaningful information regarding JORC, Sale, and etc, and until such time they do, the SP is a toy for the MM's' and shorters alike.

It will be 8 weeks since the company was forced into releasing the potential sale RNS.....and nothing since!
Are we to assume there have been no discussions between AMC and the buyer? Are we to assume no offer has been made, if the answer is yes, then surely the BOD are obliged to inform the market?

So many unknowns, so many un-answered questions, yet the BOD plods along twiddling their thumbs, they do just enough to justify their salaries, RY/BOD, so inept.

Everyone has an opinion on the on-going conflict, and the rights and wrongs of it, it is what it is.
I've come to terms that I people have varying degrees of opinions and views.....therefore decided not to argue or counter argue. The one thing we can ALL agree on is a swift end to this conflict...1 life lost is 1 too many.

Its inevitable to discuss the Ukraine conflict for the following 1.) the damage being done and loss of life, 2.) conflict, sanctions, their impact on peoples investments, no matter what, its only natural to be concerned about one's investment and etc.

In my opinion, there are two sides to this conflict, truth rests somewhere in the middle. There are underlying dirty political games going on which none of are privy to and never will be, we're not important enough. In my opinion, arming and re-arming the Ukrainians is just prolonging the war, and this is where I believe the US is trying to give the Russians a blooded nose (in-directly), very dangerous game being played.

Having said that, no one can condone Putin's decisions and actions, civilians are dying, cities being bombed to rubble. In spite of how we feel, NATO cannot intervene until such time NATO territory is attacked, then god help us all.

Final thought, over the past 10 years, there has been simmering tensions and the odd skirmish between India and China, if conflict broke out, which side would the West/NATO support?

I think Ukraine has been mislead by US/NATO, in my opinion
