Unfortunately, mad Putin and comedian Zelensky are almost bad as each other, one driven by lust, rage and selfishness, and the other driven by his ultra ego and at the mercy of his masters.

T.it for tat, its been going on for decades, every now and then the US expelled Russian diplomats, and in returns the Russians did the same. However, this latest round of handbags at dawn is at another level altogether.

In my humble view, this conflict is merely a side show, there are bigger plans and games being played right in front of our eyes. I think we're starting to see the affects, in that we may end up with two opposing camps, West/NATO and the US, the other camp will consist of BRICS and the lesser, but developing nations.

Going forward, the world will not be dominated by one or two superpowers, both equally rotten to the core, we shall see a new world order, countries belonging to one camp or the other, but nevertheless with equal footing, say and clout.

One size doesn't fit all, and this is/was US's biggest mistake by trying to impose their way of life, thinking, culture, democracy on other nations, sooner or later it was going to get rebuked!

Conflict will end when both sides find face saving terms, until such time damage will be done and lives will be lost.
On one hand we have a mad dictator, trying to resurrect the former USSR, he's drawn the red line for the West/NATO, i.e. no to Ukraine joining NATO, no nukes on his front law, I get the latter without sounding like I'm supporting Putin. The US, UK and NATO would react similarly if the Russians were to park their nukes on our/their front lawns.

On the other hand, we have Zelensky, I'm not quite sure what he is trying to achieve here, his ego hasn't allowed him to back down or agree mutual terms. He's not a seasoned politician or president, he's strings are being pulled by the US/NATO for their 'Interests'. I think, one of Putin's objectives was aid the overthrow of Zelensky and get him replaced by a pro-Russian regime, in fact this what the US/NATO did back in 2008? or 2104?

My take, the US is playing a dangerous game with the world as they are oceans away from the mainlands of Europe and Asia, they did same in World War 2 and came out as lone superpower, they are trying to recreate the scenario

It’s just a game for the super powers, unfortunately the real casualty war is the poor civilians, here we have endless loss of life on the Ukrainian side, and the average Russian on the street will suffer as a result of the sanctions, it’s a lose lose scenario.

I wish this this conflict would end right now, it pains me to see the suffering.

Totally agree with you, my intention wasn't to single out the US, Russia, China, and to a lesser degree India, they are bad as each other. Africa is a great example, massively rich in natural resources, yet so poor economically, resulting in such low standard of living for the people, it defies belief.

In my opinion, the super powers have parachuted in puppet regimes, those regimes are not aligned with the people of their countries, completely contrary, interests are aligned with their puppet masters. Whats the word we hear again and again, oh yes, one must protect 'Interests'....

Unfortunately we live in a very unjust world, the rich/powerful nations will maintain the stranglehold on the lesser, developing nations.

The Panorama last could easily be flipped, and it would show corruption at the highest level across UK rich list and politicians. It was only few years back when David Cameron was highlighted in the Panama papers, for hoarding un-declared cash, investments and etc, with no direct line of sight to the origins of the source of in-come.

Just begs the question, Roman Abramovich is now being investigated and exposed, the same people, journalist knew the same when he took over some 19 years ago.

Same with the owners of Man City, and the recent takeover at Newcastle, on one hand we moan about Human Rights in Saudi and Abu Dhabi, yet we're happy fore them to own and run our football clubs. Furthermore, take a look at the Casino's in London, Racecourses across the UK, owners of worlds best stables, they're all owned by Middle Eastern royals, families and etc, they have looted their own nations, yet we turn a blind eye to their investments in the UK.

We in the UK are hypocrites...period

In my view, sooner the better, else US dominance will continue.

Just imagine for a moment, that Microsoft OS was the only option........phew!

and now just imagine, if the US was the only superpower, it would instigate, invade and rage war on any country of its choosing to protect its 'Interests'. Balance of power is MUST, else you find yourself being bullied, and that thats why the US dislikes BRICS and some of the other up and coming nations.

I think this conflict will fast track the 'Reset' and world order, long term it will benefit every human on this lovely planet of ours. No more ravaging and stripping smaller, poorer nations of their natural resources, whilst the puppet governments supported by the superpowers lines their pockets and the poor civilians suffer and perish.

Its in best interest of the US to prolong and keep this conflict going, for them its a non direct way of trying to weaken the Russian conventional military, the US will not consider for 1 second that they are putting Ukrainian lives at risk, for the US, its just collateral damage.

One has to remember, the US is 000's miles away from conflicts/war zones, never a conflict on their front lawn, perhaps the Pentagon would have a different strategy if the US mainland was in harms way.

War is nasty......no winners apart from politicians
