On top of the countries still requiring PCR to enter posted last night, Barbados , Thailand and Dubai also require a negative PCR to enter.

Sorry i meant unvaccinated have to take a PCR on day two but if you are unvaccinated and under 19 this rule does not apply and you can take an LFT day two.

I know its serious Poidster but I did laugh when I read under 18's don't need to take a LFT test when arriving in the UK. The kids are the most infectious of all everywhere in Europe.
The confirmation PCR for those found to be positive from the newly manipulated stats that make LFTS now ' more accurate ' then they were, aren't free we pay via tax instead of the holiday makers. Thereby costing gov more. Everyone can wander round for three days infecting people before they even need to take a test. Arrival day is day zero , next day is day one and following is day two.
Well bar Europe a lot still require PCR for entrance.

Under 12 need no test to enter most countries. Imagine little Emmy gets sick in Italy the day before travelling home. Do you all quarentine there for 10 days (money) or get on a flight home.
What about business travellers for one day , will never have to take a test , how do we even begin to do any form of track and trace.
Or Jack who feels fine but tests positive on day two home, so gets bro to take one for him and continues going to work.
Everyone mixes with everyone on the plane and goes back to work for two days before test required.
Got to say a p..s poor effort from govt again. The cases will just peak further coming into Nov. Far greater risk of variants.
I expect at this rate other countries will insist on PCR tests for travellers from UK.
This method won't last long, probably a distraction from the highly critical reports of the govts covid management.
