RE: Twitter & LinkedIn appears their way to sell products18 Dec 2022 14:47
Well I have very strong opinions on how the money should be used. I personally would take an extremely dim view if they used the funds for anything other then some serious M&A. If the mgt proceeded with anything other then M&A, then to me that is the trigger to sell my entire holding. The market abounds with opportunities and if the Novacyt board choose to diminish the cash by handing out dividends ( great for new holders , not LTH's sitting on huge losses ) then I will lose all faith in them. They have the opportunity to buy off the shelf , several cash generating ( or less if bigger) companies. Without doubt this would provide income in the event the DHSC dispute went against us ( I don't think it will )
Time for money where mouth is , if they believe they have an extremely strong case then prove money not ringfenced and spend some of it. I have said before here that Mandy confirmed money was not ringfenced to me , so as far as I am concerned I expect to see them spending some of it. I don't care what interest rate they have managed to obtain , our competitors are making deals left right and centre and we need to be proactive.
I am aware thanks to the fantastic research of some on here of numerous new business partners and deals being struck , but imo we need some M&A action to accelerate the growth of the company , as organic growth alone will fail to get the company anywhere close to their LTIP targets.
The cloak and dagger b/s needs to end and we need regular R&D updates and some bloody enthusiasm from the board. Most of what I read on linked in is senior mgt congratulating staff that have secured new jobs.
The fact that some holders thought the entire RUO assay portfolio has been scrapped is indicative of how poor their communication is.
I await some info , we know full year figures will be nothing to sing and dance about , what do they intend doing to grow Novacyt ?
We need detail , a plan that we can buy into.
Back to my Christmas wrapping.
