Always worth having triggers , different people have varying degrees of risk appetite . If I was a LTH prior to contract news, then I would have derived a certain level of comfort from Killeck continuing to hold . The long term outlook of the company has changed so dramatically recently and now imo what they buy / sell is not a trigger to me. Once the contract is confirmed between x and x ( not getting embroiled in exact no ) I expect to see the TR1 's on a more regular basis with new investors. Tough markets to invest in at the moment and very few with the prospects that this has.

Afternoon , my take for what it is worth , Killick aren't in the business of being supportive, they aim to make money , nothing more , nothing less.
Looking at their market update 18th Nov ( you tube) they clearly state that better to have a global exposure then UK focused. It could quite simply be a company mandate to spread exposure more. I have no clue as to their investment strategy but if they have retail / crypto / tech investments they will have been badly hit.
Not phased at all by the reduction and most definitely doesn't alter my opinion of the potential profits I can make from my investment in Harl.
Each to their own investment strategy , if there was a very strong buy button , I'd tick it.

I was reading a KPMG article dated April 2021 , so a little out of date .From what I've read there are tax implications, but not clear to me , as not my area of expertise and vary dependent on how a deal is structured .

When :) if, Ncyt make an acquisition , how does that alter the tax position going forwards , if indeed it does at all. Can the purchase price be offset to any degree for example when :) if? they win their court case. Anyone knowledgeable on the board about the implications of an acquisition and tax liabilities please ?

Read this on Agilent techs Linked in. A good overall summary of where the market is heading and some of the reasons why. Early doors to hold this and has great potential imo.

Would be fascinated to hear why you believe Novacyt will fail in defending the claim by the DHSC. Exactly what it is you believe that you have pinpointed in the contract that Novacyt failed to deliver, it would be most enlightening.

Highly plausible Exmex , indeed the order of validation will have been completed according to either requests or perceived demand.

I think one stream the company are currently working on are the 40 clonit assays and whatever new ones they have developed. They will be validating the assays to work with the Q16's and Q32's. They then have a complete diagnostic package to offer to clients , the Q machines, COPrep , the new liquid handler and multiple assays. Now supposedly they develop what clients request ( no proof seen in COPrep sales ) so they perhaps they have been asked for this by existing clients or they are targeting 3rd world countries with a complete mobile laboratory.
What income they think they can generate I have no idea as there must be a profit split with Clonit. Pondering re M&A what they would potentially be looking for. They already have extensive assays albeit many RUO , but no point paying for what you already have. Answers on a postcard.
