How many staff ' the doers' not admin and mgt are at Methil after the cull , does anyone have any facts ?

Thx for highlighting some of your portfolio Davand , I've been looking at some but hadn't progressed much beyond the latest releases and was loathe to comment on them as there are others much more familiar with them then me . It's a waiting game now . Although I expect Novacyt's brokers are being very proactive .... about bloody time.

I wouldn't begin to value it on what YGen shareholders paid, I'm only interested in their commercial products . A lot of RNS's flying about as battle positions take shape. Time will tell. The only certainty is YGEN require cash to survive , without a large injection or T/O the picture a year from now isn't pretty. My take on this is simple , YGEN holders are very peed off , understandably so , if no other offers they'd be mad not to approve deal , it would result in a collapse of the SP. The sentiment appears to be with some , I would vote it thru if x wasn't being employed.

Forget x , emotive though it is and think in purely fiscal terms , I daresay a lot will vote with heads not heart if no other offer forthcoming. Incredibly frustrating for those long time supporters of YGEN.

There is something wrong with you P100 , the announcement of the acquisition of a company with a plethora of commercial tests that is struggling because of 'supposed ' mismgt ,cannot be construed in any way shape or form as a pump and dump. * I say supposed as I am not familiar enough with Ygens entire history and therefore am not qualified to pass judgment in any way. However I have come across several of the posters on YGEN previously and they appear to be reasonable folks .

From my perspective it looks a good match and will potentially increase our revenue substantially once the companies are merged and cost efficiency exercises are implemented.

Furthermore it dispels rumours by people like YOU , that Novacts huge cash balance is ringfenced.

This proposed acquisition is a clear sign Novacyt are confident about the DHSC and are prepared to spend. Personally pleased with the development of one arm of their stated strategy being played out in the public arena. Imo nothing negative about this at all , infact

the exact opposite.

Logic dictates to me no placing imminently. The dilution and what they would achieve in cash would make it devoid of point. We all know the cashburn and the reasons why , I accept them as valid reasons in a company gearing up.

The picture will be a lot clearer in Sept and at that stage it is feasible that the issue of an equity raise in some form may be raised.

That however is entirely dependent on the result of the JR and how JW decides to proceed. If IM is sold then there will be no cash raise in the foreseeable future.

What would you do if you were are a YGEN holder who had bought in at the recent lows for a punt and then find yourself sitting at a huge profit.

Would you wait 3 months to get a bit more or flog it and take a punt elsewhere , that's a hell of a rise for those who bought in low , meanwhile who is accumulating those sales ? 🤔

then yes Novacyt are covering that. These are considerations that some Ygen holders shouting foul play and calling for 6p and 7p are not taking into account. It's all in the RNS , I missed it first time when skim reading.

It is a dilemma 😕 for Ygen holders , some invested much higher and of course want to break even at a minimum., if no other offer is forthcoming and they vote no , then they risk the shareprice plummeting.

This is the issue that many aim companies will face in the current economic climate , without huge contracts or reoccurring contracts , a tight cash position leaves them very vulnerable to T//O's or being acquired.
