Hi Gizmo , pretty big might there. If was a YGEN holder I definitely would not wait watching sp tank hoping an administrator would save my investment . Risk of nothing back and if anything could be salvaged , heavy debt ( rates rising ) and money tied up for a considerable length of time( whats left)

We obviously all hold opinions on what could happen re proposed acquisition. I fully accept another offer could be forthcoming, that's the mechanics of how this operates. Reading theories that groups of holders who collectively hold ( potentially ) up to/ around 25% and could effectively attempt to negotiate . The theory being we will vote positively if you increase offer. This would only come into play if no alternative offers.

Unless I'm missing something fundamental here , Novacyt wouldn't play because if the shareholders block the deal and no other offer then guess what happens to YGEN and the SP. Just imo.

know if they vote against it then the likelihood of YGEN 's SP dropping back is extremely high and therefore they may make 'their move ' and purchase Novacyt if they wish to continue on with their YGEN investment. I really don't know , because a mass exodus creates a buying opportunity for both Novacyt and a competitor.

Of course all the above is irrelevant if a new bid lands in the next few weeks. Hey ho , at least there is some activity at long last!

Neither as far I am aware have any skin in the game. although Katya is an investor in the new position she started in May 2023.

As regards Bond being productive I've no idea , it is never transparent to shareholders exactly what NEDS contribute. There are endless lists of what tasks NED's should be performing but extremely hard always to benchmark their performance.

What is it you expect him to be doing ? Furthermore how do you conclude he isn't being productive. I have not got a clue , he may be superb.

Work history of Ian Ure. From 2013 he ran his own company until joining H&W in 2022 , during that time he spent 4 years also contributing to the innovation thought leadership platform. Prior to that he spent 4 years at CGI , the prior 11 years are lumped together saying various roles from Coo to CEO , helping distressed companies. Therefore apart from his own company, the longest duration I can see he stayed anywhere is 4 years.

However , I think it is a loss and obviously disagreement arose about strategy moving forwards.

I would imagine the fact he was not on the board ( should have been imo) and Katya Zotova is , didn't assist.

I would very much like to see some additions and fast.

The current structure means that JW is offered little resistance to anything he wants to do. The CFO has an incredibly difficult job to perform and cannot be led by the nose.

I would imagine that Ure was a strong advocate of selling IM immediately to pay down some of the debt and focus on the other strands of the business in this early growth phase. JW wouldn't entertain it and hence his departure. I could be a million miles off the mark.

Katya too has taken up a new position alongside being a NED and board member, this is normal for NED's and doesn't concern me.

This sounds like a potential nightmare just as the cruise season is in its busiest season.

Personally I think there is more fabrication on here then we will see collectively at all the yards. As for shipbuilding apparently we are going to fail and JW is attempting to rip off the MOD. Somehow I don't think so 🤔 umm.

Stas hi , I never go cross board usually, but I have a question re what you were sent . Is there a typo , it doesn't make sense to me.

It starts with the offer being 0.55 , then proceeds to say LR's average is .52 so he will make money blah blah. However the offer is .522 , therefore he won't make any money , perhaps a miniscule loss or gain. So the premise he makes money whilst shafting shareholders isn't correct.
