Don't know about the Norbay being impacted but the C3 is most definitely dependent on calm sea conditions and there have been some rough seas , totally impossible for C3 to venture out in.

Call me a cynic too, it will be pretty clean.

However I wonder what Mullis , Dyer and co have on theirs from the health minister and his lackys. We were early doors , they were desperate to be seen to be doing something. We see from the contract it states need immediate delivery urgent etc. I don't believe they didn't receive messages we want it and we want it now or similar style communications.

Could even be how the 150mm guarenteed minimum came about , with Nova saying we need to execute A B and C first and they were pushing to have it delivered yesterday. Hypothetical I know but highly likely.

Don't believe for one second Novacyt were not put under extreme pressure to deliver. Announced , big fanfare , Rishi visiting blah blah and then months later after taking two separate deliveries of new product PROmate refuse to pay. Roll on court case or early settlement.

Yes Moniman , however whilt the DHSC were reordering and months later.... couldn't pay , other companies continued to order and still use today. Odd that.

As ever time will tell but I think the worst case scenario is highly unlikely and Novacyt will live to fight another day.

Imo YGEN share price is a strong indicator if there is another offer brewing , in a T/ O one would expect to see the SP sitting at around the offer price minus the current interest rate. If the SP of YGEN suddenly starts increasing substantially over our bid price then somethings afoot.

With shares in aim , it may go slightly above with the MM 's moving it , ( liquidity) which you wouldn't see in FTSE share. Look at NCYT intraday , a few small trades can shift the SP 5 % either way. As always just imo.

KT, good evening , the statement was made as a sweetener in the RNS dated 21/12/2022 , the placing RNS to perhaps make shareholders feel confident no further placing / dilution required.

As Yourgene refer to themselves in that very RNS as a leading International diagnostic company , I'm pretty certain LS could use the same phraseology to describe Novacyt.

Who knows , irrelevant now , 'they' didn't provide equity and now there is a potential acquisition. Could have been Novacyt, but after looking said no, company needs x y z and without it we won't invest , but we will buy you. ......

We don't know , we will never know.

However if there was strategic partner , one would envisage LS trying to use it as leverage in negotiations and it wouldn't have been kept a secret, so Novacyt will be well aware if there was / is any potential interest from mystery supposed strategic partner.

Agree Moniman. Just a waiting game to see if anything else surfaces.

Main plus for me is Novacyts cash not ringfenced and I'd practically guarentee they have several in sight . If they're in the market looking to buy then there are plenty of opportunities.
