Personally think Aim that there will be a raise, not now , no point in diluting to oblivion at this price. Obvious from H1 numbers that Harl not in receipt of staged pyt for M55 or FSS , so both due imminently and therefore no need for immediate raise. Lot of play on ambiguity on UKEF approving/ not approving, credit to Jaknife he has always been an eloquent writer. I read that totally differently . Nuff said , we place our bets and the aim dice rolls. Mod backed into a corner , late deliveries , threat in Europe , need FSS , think we will get the funding. Pi's might not have been aware of cost to gear up for this contract, but I doubt very much those awarding it sat In ignorance. Believe we will hear positive news on this front and fairly soon.

My take is this , not to long ago he had to lay off staff at Methil , one thing he knows for sure is that if he finds himself in the same position now, then its game over.

The offices , senior hires , events ..... blah blah are hugely expensive , if he was in dire straits he simply would not do it.

I wasn't overly enamoured with the concept of becoming ferry operators but I reserve judgement at the moment as to his motive. If it transpires it was a total bluster incase the JR went against us or in the hope we would be distracted from the numbers then it has failed miserably.

Disappointed the M55 staged pyt missed HI , tbh I too expected it to be included as JW said ahead of schedule , can't recall exactly when though and too busy today to look.

Lottie re horses and carts. I find the whole set up strange. When I had a house built , I paid for labour and bricks , timber , cement , planning permission etc up front and labour monthly. If I order a kitchen , sofas I have to pay 50 % upfront. Very difficult market when winning huge contracts and you have to foot the staff build up and training in advance of any financial input until milestones are met. It is what it is and as ever the financial package JW is negotiating is crucial.

He doesn't appear to be overly concerned , look at the H&W itinerary for LISW , that will cost a pretty package !

I think JW realises that because of LR's incompetence he has picked up a bargain. Will he be allowed to play the same game at Novacyt , I very much doubt it and agree with B2HS2L.

Regarding Marketing , GM appeared to have total freedom with regards to what info he divulged and when, inclusive of putting his ramping pants on when it suited, that too was In JW"s tenure .. I think it depends entirely on who becomes CEO.

With regards to merging the two companies , let us not forget that these two companies are no strangers to each other and this therefore will not be an exercise they are going into blind. It actually gives me confidence that Novacyt know the products and a lot of the staff , we have to have a degree of trust they have chosen the right acquisition. Do I know , most definitely not, but I see a great deal of potential and that's a lot more then I've seen with the pitifully slow supposed organic growth. Also any company we acquired would undergo a bedding In period , this is not unique. M&A doesn't happen overnight and here we have a head start.

Let's not forget Ygen holders all believe the company has been given away and is worth substantially more.

Regarding voting , totally agree , personally this acquisition will make no difference to the way I intend voting.

Let's see what we have to vote on first and what we are told prior to exercising our right to vote.

I don't think you are mad at all , if all along JW has said we're in with a good chance , then who were they going to build for ... the Steamship company. I don't believe they could have found an alternative company because they didn't know ( 🫢🫢)H&W were going to spring this.

Personally don't believe that there are a plethora of insurmountable issues and trust that JW is more then aware of all the next steps required to bring this to the long awaited conclusion. I hope that it will enable LTH's to finally see some profit .

I'm going to pursue IR for those old numbers you mentioned , aware time has moved on .... for me I'd l8ke to have a starting point..

Since the fundraise the Company has already delivered the first phase of its reshaping plans delivering an annualised 10% operating cost reduction. A further annualised 15% saving has been identified for the planned second phase.

Before one looks at cost saving synergies between the two companies.
