RE: HARL is the best place to be over the next two Weeks!2 Sep 2023 01:51
I view this all simply. I invested because I see huge growth potential , the war in Ukraine , covid when dry docking stopped , the energy crisis , the climate crisis are all catalysts . Uk shipbuilding has been monopolised by certain key players , this gives the MOD limited options if they want to build in the UK going forwards. We will become another option.
The accounts look bloody awful even to a novice.
Every growing company has to take on debt , it is to be expected, it needs very careful mgt. The successful JR was the key to unlock the financing deal.
The company have come on in leaps and bounds.
The FSS contract, Island Magee , Cory , M55 , the 70 million loi , tendering for Scilly. Busy dry docks and we haven't even started to hear about fabrication contracts yet. We may learn the 70 million contract isn't the Sea Rose and receive yet more good news.
The yards being totally overhauled with amazing new cost saving equipment 77 million quids worth of upgrades.
The tech transfer from Navantia.
I'm thrilled with progress thus far.
How the hell anyone can expect not to be in debt is beyond me. These things take time and I for one am not remotely concerned that a couple of shorters placed their bets. They take advantage of trading patterns. If JW continues at this pace and the pipeline continues to grow then we will be looking at many multiples of this share price and that is why I am invested.
Xenor I could have bought more last week cheaper. However even though I listened to the entirety of the JR & was very positive, writing something akin to our silk annihilated them , I had no certainty of the result. Had it gone against us, we could have been looking at buying in much cheaper then 13p.
Hence when price dropped I went in twice today.
Yeah could drop more but I'm happy with the price I got. Also happy to hold long term and watch the story unfold.
Agree with Si D re too many fingers in too many pies but I think this is just JW hedging his bets and in the not too distant future I expect to see him streamlining his strategy and following the money. The most lucrative projects will be the ones that come to fruition , the rest will be dropped , be that regular supply of barges, workboat, tugs blah blah.
