Cyrox, I dont think your alone, many expected Vlad to take advantage of the spike to raise working capital for the next few months to keep books balanced and he did. There was significant and growing downward pressure, a large short position and growing voices on here about a placing. Had he not done a placing then those voices would only have grown louder. So its a catch 22. You either do the placing the market expects and take a short term hit or let the market fight and potentially drop lower over time and if anything does go wrong be forced to raise at a lower price later.

IF he resubmits the IND and it gets bounced back again, WHICH I AM CONFIDENT IT WONT, but IF it did what would happen to the SP? At what SP would would he have to raise to see in another 6 months until he got IND submitted again?

Same at the start of the year, he did not raise 4m expecting a clincal hold, he raised 4m EXPECTING IND APPROVAL but just wanting to be save. He took advantage of a situation then and same thing has happened now, good RNS, SP was up considerably, chance to raise a small amount but enough to cover expenses for a few months and with it he has put to bed any arguments about placing coming in the next few weeks or months.

So by all means, be frustrated, if you want to sell in a hissy fit be my guest. HOWEVER

This was NOT a placing for a CEO expecting to be waiting months to submit IND

This was NOT a placing where the CEO grabbed as much cash as possible because there was bad news

This was NOT a discount to a few days ago.

This was off the back of a CBR update, likely planned to take advantage of the opportunity before the RNS was even released.

I dont agree with alot Vlad does but on paper this was a prudent move, it also may be beneficial to us because it does shut up the placing trolls for a few months. Would I have made the same decision in his place? Probably not but I am more of a gambler.

It is such a low amount and he was offered more, does not reek of someone desperate to raise money. He did this back before the Clinical Hold, he was confident the IND would be approved, but the SP had spiked and he took advantage. BEFORE the clinical hold we thought he was stupid and after it turned out to be a wise move, minimal dilution, big pot of cash to see the company though to now.

IND IMO is very very likely this time to go without a hitch, he knows the issue, the FDA agreed the plan to lift but its not guaranteed. SP Spikes and Vlad raises 500k as a bit of a buffer just incase? Its more than I paid for my shares in recent months so I had a bit of a moan but thats me done. Several people who took profit yesterday already stating they are going to buy back, most people on here have very short memories so give it a few days and people will have moved on from the placing and more positive than they were before because the placing is out of the way. So wake me up when the moaning is over :P

Little bit of moaning, not so much for me because I bought lots < 2p, but for those who bought lately fully understandable.

Question is what do people do? I have said in the past I would not be surprised if vlad took advantage of a SIGNIFICANT spike to rise, I am surprised by the fact he went at 2.375 but such is life, when it went to 10p he did 7p, when it went 4p he did 2.5p. When it goes up historically he has taken advantage, but point is it has to go up, they are never at a discount to the price before it goes up so risk wise if your an actual investor this is not a kick in the balls its not a discount for most of us.

Clearly this is enough cash to get us to the next milestone, in the past when oversubscribed Vlad has taken more, to limit the raise to 500k is re-assuring. Enough to get clinical just widening the buffer.

So what happens now, do people get their back up and sell in a huff? Or do people recognise that the one thing people were worried about "a placing" has happened, its not a bad price and there now wont be another one for months UNLESS there is a transformational change such as starting trials.

&Micky, your entitled to moan, I will also, HOWEVER you always frame it as end of the world, guaranteed, big put off to buy here. My point is, and always has been, sure Vlad does raises, but its almost always off the back of a significant jump in SP so worrying about something that MIGHT happen when if it DOES happen will be at a premium to that point in time is pointless. Its like saying when I get a pay rise I will have to pay more tax.... Yes.... but you got a pay rise.

Anyway its small, people cant now say a placing is coming. here is my rant:

WHY THE F did Vlad use PeterHouse for this placing? They use the same traders who time and time again forward sell/short troll/trade etc. If its the same brokers who took the shares then they are connected to Jarvis who run this forum.. Use a public open after hours placing site and STOP FEEDING THE TROLLS VLAD.

I prefer to see placings to prevail at a premium but if we see small incremental placings on the way up at higher and higher prices? So be it

Nope I did not, and why would I? I bought as many as I could at much lower prices, I am surprised they raised any but atleast we are talking only 22m shares, hardly anything to write home about.

Very hypocritical and misleading, accusing me of being a fraud whilst you deliberately try and mislead, quoting standard text from an RNS that is required to be there.

"To the extent that the Company raises additional funds by issuing equity securities," is standard and required text, there is no guarantee that this is ANY, there is no requirement for them to subsequently issue equity, they COULD raise via placing of shares or the extent of placing could be ZERO, this also does nothing to address that any possible placing would likely be done via Prevail who have placed their pre-clinical discount at 6p.

"fund raising will be THIS YEAR" - Again another statement of FACT so unless you are an insider you are assuming and guessing and passing this off as fact. It clearly states "prior to the commencement of the Phase I clinical trials." Which comes AFTER IND approval, having approval to start trials makes Hemogenyx "clinical" and classifies them as Phase 1, it does not mean that the following morning they call up Joe Wantashot and have him rock up to the Boston General for a quick jab of CAR-T in the backside.

NOWHERE have I said they WONT do a placing, IMO the actual method of fundraising WILL be issue of equity, HOWEVER Unlike you I am willing to accept this is not the only form of fundraising which satisfies the RNS. Nor do I believe it will be done at a discount to the current SP and whilst I believe its POSSIBLE this year I do not see anything in any RNS that forces Hemogenyx to conduct a placing in 2023, that would be a very stupid thing to put in an RNS.

If you KNOW otherwise then you are acting on inside information, if you are just guessing and THINK otherwise then by all means share your opinion but stop stating it as fact, especially considering how much abuse you have given India and myself over the years for posting things you dont agree with.

Stu, I copied and pasted from the half year report, as I said to Micky, there is no mention of placing:

"Substantial funding will be required by the Company during the clinical trial phase and further funding will be sought by the Company prior to the commencement of the Phase I clinical trials."

And no mention of it taking place this year. Prior to commencement of Phase 1 clinical trials, which I would love to start this year, but reality? Probably next year. If your anxious then there are plenty of blue chips out there offering 5% a year.

As I said it MIGHT be a placing, however given Prevail have quite clearly gotten involved in the funding side the chances of it being a discounted public placing as so many are worried about is greatly reduced. I AM NOT SAYING THAT WONT HAPPEN, I am saying that IMO IF there is a placing its very unlikely to be pre-IND, at a discount and public. Time will tell!

I just dont have the same worries that you do and even though I dont like how Vlad conducts investor relations, I trust him at this point, with guidance of Prevail to make the right business decisions. Right gtg, have a good weekend all :-)

Micky I think you have been too burnt in recent years both here and in the abysmal small cap markets. A raise is not a raise. The 6p placing from prevail was a placing, cash handed over for 1% of shares in Hemo at 6p. Before that the SP was lagging below 1.4p for what felt like years, then over 3p in a day and raise at 2.5p, more than 1p premium to the prevailing average price. When Covid struck we went from 1.4p to 14p and there was a later placing at 7p, again a huge mark up from the average price. That is nothing like the 1.5p placing we experienced during the Mint years, most people here who fear a placing are doing so because they are clouded by that stupid bloody CLN and placing that followed, but reality is MOST placings and fund raisings have been very very good for us and the company, Mint are gone.

There is only one fact, as per the RNS:

"Substantial funding will be required by the Company during the clinical trial phase and further funding will be sought by the Company prior to the commencement of the Phase I clinical trials."

Substantial does NOT mean 2-3 million, it means 10s if not 100s of millions. IE they will need MULTIPLES of the companies mCap, so basically we are talking about vlad giving away total ownership and control of the company if you think it would happen at this price. The company have authorisation to issue 20% or less than 200m when you take out schemes and already issued to prevail. So this fantasy of massive discount placings that a few seem obsessed by and have been obsessed by is not grounded in reality. We were also told by the experts that the company was spending 900k a month 6 months ago... So by my reckoning the company should now be millions in debt. Not the case, one off huge expenditure last year does NOT mean the month cash burn is anywhere even remotely close to that figure.

Anyway, by all means say you "THINK" there will be a placing, but stating it as fact is just false, the wording is right there: "further funding will be sought" It does NOT say discounted public placing, could easily be grant/loan/investment. What we did hear was Prevail, in a room of investors, having just paid 6p, invite people to contact them if they wish to invest in Hemogenyx.

Sorry micky but a placing is not fact. Simple as that. Rns says funding is required. And funding IS required but zero evidence if it will be placing, loan, grant, private investment. Even if it is a placing no reason to think it would be even remotely close to current SP. 20% issue at this SP won't pay for phase 1. 20% issue at 6p+ would.

Not sure about others, but for me this time of year is pay rise and bonus time and I find myself with more time off, presents already bought and more cash to invest. End of January usually have to pay off self assessment tax bill and credit card from christmas so more of a need for money then but if SP still here when I get xmas bonus? we all know by now where its going, I cannot help myself :P

Stu, HH believes your setting up the board for a trade, IE if no RNS by end of next week, sell off, inject a bit of fud, troll for a while and buy back. Is this the case? No idea, we will find out soon enough. Pointless arguing about it now.

I agree with you, much better a CH than kill anyone, and I agree with you about the disparity between what he says to us and what is revealed at the seminars. We are not so far apart, I just lack the balls to trade and generally more optimistic and positive. Nite!

£1.80 remains my target, even with dilution, Did I predict a CH? Nope, neither did Vlad, the rest of his board, the external advisors , Sir Marc etc, EXPERTS who know a lot more than you or I. If the choice is between being wrong with them or right with you? I'm going to side with the experts here.

I really dont think you are grasping this point:

WE THINK the IND will be approved in December, we HOPE thats the case, BUT even if we get to 31st December and there is no IND WE ARE NOT GOING TO SELL IN A HISSY FIT. ALL of us accept its possible that it may slip into next year, but that is not a reason to sell, none of us want to be in your situation, sell, hoping the SP dips and.... it just goes up.

We can play like this for the next month if you like, as the days go on its more than likely the SP will continue to rise as more and more buy in for IND, so you can carry on having a kitten, regretting dumping at 2p, begging vlad for some discount placing and praying to get back in before IND. But the rest of us are just going to chill and wait, and occasionally wind you up.

HT, I will post to counter BS and downright de-ramp attempts, but I wont try and convince you or anyone else to buy, people can read the RNS's. Pumpkin I pretty much ignore as you called out, 121 has disappeared, stu hardly posts, so if you want to sit out a month of trolling then I would welcome the break from LSE, up to you.

And to answer your question, if I had AML, and the NHS gave me a death sentence and Vlad offered me a place on his trial? I would bite his hand off without a second hesitation. So up to you, maybe chat to you in a month, your choice :-)

2 sets of people on here, those of us who already hold shares, who hope ind is approved in December and are quite comfortable. If it gets to end of December and we have to wait another few weeks? We will be fine. Been here many years already.

Then we have folks who want to try and cast doubts, but the doubt they are trying to cast is that IND might take into January, not realising that even though the other group THINK it will be December, reality is we are still going to wait if its January. This second group sold hoping to get in cheaper and somehow think as we get closer to IND the SP is going to drop?

How about we all go away for a month, stop trying to influence each other and if IND lands us LTHers will be well happy, if still no IND by end of 2023 HT can proclaim how he was right and err.... idk, its possible, by that point we will be close to HIS estimate and even he will be buying back so.... yea.

Let's agree its not guaranteed in 2023, could be early 2024, anyone wants to gamble and trade? Work away, I'm just gonna wait though.
