Its not a recent thing, going on for months.

I've seen 'share support' where a co wants to keep the price in a certain range due to fund raising or a takeover offer. Is Ben that devious, probably not.

It could be a supplier paid in shares wanting to cash in because they don't like the risk or its their year end and they need to recognise revenue/looking for cash.

It could be someone slowly reducing a large position.

Warrants conversion and selling into market, possible but very few RNS notifications.

I wish they'd stop for a while as its not good for new investors seeing SP undermined.

PGM is much more likely and more valuable if its a Norilsk type deposit

I thought the interview was rubbish with John waffling on and saying little of consequence. Worst interview of the last 6 months.

Maybe I got bored by John's voice and missed a vital part, but wasn't the point of this presentation to give a briefing of the drill programme for this year? Ben simply said the drill moves to Ditau next and that was it.

BCB: you've got to wait until TA2DD002 assays come though, then they'll need to drill a super deep hole through the middle of the A2 conductor (TA2D'2 clipped it), wait another 2-3 months for those assays ,then another couple of holes in area C & D so perhaps by Q3/Q4 they'll have confirmed the northern KSZ as a new mining district with AA begging to come on board.

I'd love to know a bit more about the stratigraphy on the geological hole and whether B1 drilling is past the worst or whether its back to 15m/day progress. Secondly if they intend to do DHEM incrementally (means slower progress but tangible results) or once the drilling is finalised? Thirdly are they still expecting Nickel (c$21k/t) or mostly Copper given the KSZDD001 core?

Anyone of these targets are company makers provided they can create a viable mineral resource which takes $$s and time. There's plenty of existing producers who would happily buy resource/reserves and truck high grade ore 20km to their processing plants.

Re drill photos, they're just a snapshot which doesn't tell you grade or quantity plus its very difficult to distinguish between pyrite and gold from a photo. For the geo's on the ground they have tools and techniques and would have a pretty good idea straightaway, sometimes they provide commentary though its normally stating the obvious like "visual sulphides" which is better than nothing but not particularly helpful or spectacular. I have bought both PALM & KAV on the basis of photos and also the body language of the communication when a CEO foams at the month with excitement.

KAV have worked with TMS over the last year so it’s a bit surprising KAV isn’t mentioned but a good read nonetheless.

MMs took KAV 10% down this morning on practically no volume so there is risk & I stand by a substantial fall if the worse happens on B1...but there's A2, Ditau, KCB and other KSZ which are all company makers so any fall will be short lived. I have a decent amount of KAV shares and expect a B1 discovery so not deramping.

If negative I think the downside will be savage c3p before recovering in future months on the other prospects.

Formal/informal news on B1 is like lighting a firework so you’d better be sure of the facts first.

Some Permutations:
1) Ground conditions difficult resulting slower progress, lots of precedent in KSZ, last hole encountered some vertical shear rock and water.
2) Mechanical breakdown/supply chain issues.
3a)Improved security/no info leakage, its basically a camp in the desert making it harder to leak info.
3b)Possible only a couple of people have direct sight of cores.
Despite BT saying they'd release positive results immediately, if security is guaranteed (no insider trading) it buys time to analyse and prepare next steps. BT could wait until he declares the results.

4) New (???) casing type causing unforeseen problems.
5) On-going (???) DHEM resulting in more data but slower progress. BT said this was a possibility but it wasn't a first choice
6) Post drill method DHEM but similar problems to previous holes, success rate not great.
BT wants DHEM before releasing results?

7) Its a dud, a lump of iron stone and the guys are desperately looking for any upside, REE, PGE
8) They missed the target (its quite wide but easily done), at that point either abandon drill or make second attempt.
9) Non commercial discovery, contemplating next steps.
10) 50m of massive copper sulphide, smaller NI & PGE - happy days . Nickel would be better but they didn't find much in the last hole (upper part of the proposed feeder system)
11) Its something completely different like IOCG but there would have been indications from the last 50m of previous drill.

Suggins: short answer is yes but a couple of caveats.

The area is known for being difficult to drill and casing is needed, the geological hole took ages to complete.

It is possible they are conducting DHEM as they go along. BT said this was an option but it is disruptive, slower and more expensive. If this is the case then it would have started around the 300-400m level i.e. above the conductor. The drill is aimed at the centre c550m and the conductor slopes so the DHEM will first intersect at a higher level because it has a 300m diameter even though the drill bit won't intersect until lower down.

The buy sell algorithm often gets it wrong, HL has stock to buy @4.8975 which is closer to the bid than ask hence the confusion. The ask looks quite reasonable if you've got the risk appetite for B1 results.

I'd rather KAV concentrated on A2, B1 and its feeder system rather than opening up another rabbit hole. The SP needs economic discoveries, resources & reserves.

Should get B1 news Friday or Monday, they should be at target depth about now then two days to get fully through the conductor.

BT's secured a better drill, one capable of deeper drilling for the next campaign in KSZ and they're going to need it if they're sitting on IOCG in the deeps.

James01: the next 10-14 days could provide game changing news and it is no coincidence the KAV technical guys are presenting next Tuesday(?).

Drilling is around 190-200m today, hopefully speeding up to 30m/d. The target zone is around 450-650m dipping 60 degrees so I think they'll try to hit dead centre at 550m for maximum DHEM contact and as JD says KAV will notify the market if visible massive sulphides present, XRF can be unreliable so don't expect grades but it will say what elements are there. The conductance reading says there's something highly concentrated and BT confirmed its unlikely to be magnetite and mentioned "500 s" although I read a paper which says up to 1000 s if mixed with sulphides, neither is close to 8200 s. One of the key questions is the thickness of any deposit and Jeremy Brett said last week they don't know at this point, 10m @ 5% Cu => 1m/t

Core photos and BT's body language will absolutely give the results away in the next two weeks. Where I do agree is results from assays, DHEM, gravity surveys will take a couple of months to confirm. Yesterday BT basically said if B1 is successful the share price will "go through the roof".
